July 26th
The natural light of the morning sun beamed straight through the giant windows of the room, giving the space a soft glow. The whole house was completely silent, making this moment even more peaceful.
Sebastian and Gabie were still in his bed, glued to one another under the heavy and incredibly soft blanket. Not even once during the night did they let go of each other. The first to wake up was obviously him, but he didn't move, wanting to make this moment last as long as possible and to let her sleep as much as she needed.
He was just laying there, on his back with his eyes closed. His arm was hooked around Gabie who was sleeping soundly next to him, her head rested on his chest and their legs hooked onto one another. His fingers were lightly caressing her back and with his free hand he grabbed his phone to read some of the emails he got in the past few hours. Trying to stay as quiet as possible not to wake her.
He would occasionally break the focused eye contact with his phone to take a glimpse at her, at how cute she looked sleeping on his bare chest. Slowly but surely, Gabie started moving a little in efforts to wake up. Seb plopped his phone back on the night stand as soon as he noticed she started waking up.
She took a deep breath and squinted her eyes before opening them. Being the deep sleeper that she is, no wonder she looked so confused, she had to blink a couple times to adjust to the bright light.
"Good morning Gabie" Seb said in his low, raspy morning voice.
She immediately looked up at him and smiled. She had never heard his voice so deep before. She thought it was really attractive.
After a few seconds, she was somewhat awake and she readjusted her position to climb higher up and place her face in the crook of his neck. Seb could feels her warm breath against his sensitive skin and it just made him want to tighten his hold around her.
"Morning" she finally said, while stretching her legs a little. He laughed at how adorable she was.
"How'd you sleep?" He asked her but was it even a question? Judging from her messy hair and and her tired eyes, she slept like a baby. They both just had some of the best sleep they've had in a long time. Particularly Seb, it was rare for him to be able to sleep through the night without waking up because of his insomnia.
