Part 1: a start to a new beginning

Thomas climbs down, then the new girl,

When they reach ground again,

"Y/n, This is Teresa." Thomas informs me,

"Okay." I cross my arms unamused,

"Okay, so I thought maybe you could show her around, maybe you'd help her feel a bit more comfortable since you've been here longer and you're both~"

I cut him off,

"Girls."

"Well, yeah."

"So now you want to talk to me again?"

"Y/n, please." He sounds defeated,

I take a good glance at her, she doesn't speak, she doesn't do anything, she just stands there,

"Fine, but I want to know what's going on with Alby, right now, before I do anything."

"We're doing our best, he's been stung, Teresa gave me these, maybe they could help us." He pulls out two viles of blue liquid,

When I reach my hand out to take them he pulls away,

I raise an eyebrow at his behavior,

"You have a job to do." He speaks,

"You're not alby."

"Actually alby isn't here." Thomas continues,

"Yeah and last time I checked second in command is Newt, not you." I made a gesture toward Newt who was standing just behind me,

"Come on love, it might be nice to have another girl in the glade, someone to talk to?"

"Yeah well I don't plan on being here any longer
than I ~"

I stop myself seeing the look he gives me, it's more of a motherly look,

Anyways I comply, "fine, I'll give it a shot, for you."

"Thank you." He responds, he gives me a peck on the cheek and I lead Teresa off for her tour,

Thomas gives me a confused side eye glance as we walk away.
