Two friends who used to be the life of the party when they were in school are now depressed. After years of not knowing how or where they are, the two estranged friends meet at the hospital. Both after surviving a suicide attempt. Seeing the other in such a state, they both make up their minds to give each other a reason to stay alive.
From making plans for a huge road trips to the silent dinner date at the amusement park, they finally start to think that maybe life isn't all that bad after all.

(I didn't mention any gender because the characters can be anyone— friends, lovers, cousins, siblings. Even though, I know a romantic relationship is the most expected result from a story like this. I believe characters who are in a platonic relationship can also rise from depression together.)
ps : I know the severity of depression and suicidal tendencies and I'm in no means trying to play it low here.
