Strangers Of Yesterday
While she came in to the hospital for a regular check up, she discovered a diary that has been recently filled up as the ink still smudged. With no name or address, she decides to take it with her when she realised that someone has followed her home.
It's the owner of that diary but he wasn't human anymore, he was the soul of a boy who recently passed away at the hospital.

Obviously they fall in love but because he's a spirit, he has to eventually leave and it becomes a bittersweet love story. For a happier ending, you can show that maybe the guy was in a coma all this time while his spirit wandered around.
