"I knew there was something wrong with this place." Finn inquired angrily.
Mal patted his shoulder gently, giving him a sympathetic smile."It's okay, babe. We'll finish filming and get out of here right away. Elvira wouldn't be able to catch us of we become extra careful." She replied soothingly.
"No, it's not okay ! I should've known ! I should've known she was still after us, that she still wants us dead !" He exclaimed, burying his head through his hands. Mal took a gentle grip on his hand and squeezed it in here, making him look into her eyes.
"It's going to be fine, babe. I promise. Do you trust me or not ?"
He nodded slightly.
"I do."She hugged him tightly, assuring him with her words.
"We're here for each other, remember ?"He hugged her again, sinking his face into her neck.
"I remember."As soon as they let go, she stretched her arm up to caress his cheek gently. He melted into the touch.
"Come on, let's have dinner."
The memory burned through his head like fire. A small tear streamed down his face, which had a guilty expression.
He wished so bad that this wasn't a memory. He wanted to go back in time. Maybe he would have stopped himself from acting so recklessly.
His heart ached at the thought of her.
He was interrupted from his train of thoughts by someone's footsteps just outside his door.
He quickly wiped his tears away as he heard a gentle knock. The door was opened a few seconds later. Luna, Mal's sister's face poked into the room, smiling softly.
Why was she smiling ? Doesn't she know that I'm the reason her sister isn't with them right now ? He questioned thoughtfully.
"Good morning ! Are you awake yet ?" She cheerfully greeted.
He slowly sat up, and nodded.
She nodded back, and closed the door. Finn got up to look at himself in the mirror.
He was wearing a big, comfortable pullover, and was still wearing his jeans. It was beginning to get uncomfortable. He sighed softly as he went towards the closet to change.
He took a quick look at the window after he was done, to see the empty street with only a few people passing by, along with a few trees that made the scenery pretty.
Maybe today will be a good day.

"Oh hi, Finn, did you sleep well ?" Maya asked as she saw Finn walk into the dining room. He nodded quickly as he pulled out a chair and sat down.
It didn't take him long enough to realize that Rajwan and Adam were staring daggers at him. If looks could kill, he would be six feet underground.
He gulped awkwardly, staring at his food.
Luna noticed as well. She leaned a little towards her brothers, and started to speak in Arabic. Finn didn't understand, but soon enough, they were back to eating their food peacefully.
"If you don't stop taunting him, I promise you're both dead meat." She seemed to say.
For once, his lips curved into a small smile. They didn't see, of course, but he was grateful.
At least some of them still like me.
