15.) Someone Important

"Damn it! I knew this would happen."

"Father, what happened?"

"We need an official Otsutsuki to feed to the ten tails. We can't feed a karma holder like me."

"It's alright, Father. Black Zetsu made a deal with us. If he can get us what he wants, we can grant him his mother back who we can use as a sacrifice."

"That woman is a traitor. We'll need someone like Momoshiki who will do nothing to jeopardize the mission. Kawaki officially lost his Karma while Boruto went missing with Momoshiki all these years ago-" Code paused. He was sitting behind a table with a usually dead orb in the center. The orb suddenly started flashing blue.

"What's happening to it?" Code's daughter asked. The other flashed the fifth time snd instantly shut off.

"It means Momoshiki is alive and the orb can sense his chakra. We'll use him as our sacrifice."

"Lord eighth, ready to leave? The ships are full of materials ready for war. The Raikage will be expecting you very soon." Shikadai says, strapping papers and fighting materials in the Hokage's bag.

"I am now. Thanks Shikadai. Send me through." Konohamaru stood on the teleporter, an invention from the hidden cloud that was used to teleport the Hokage into the battle field from headquarters. It was quick and Konohamaru ended on the other end of the device, the new headquarters building for this war.

It was decided that the Kages were going to participate in the war only after absolutely necessary as it was in the fourth great ninja war. The five kage summit a few weeks ago concluded that previous kages and exceptional shinobi were to be reanimated only under the highest level of emergency. There was one exception, however. Due to the Otsutsuki and kara's connection to the chakra tree, they were going to use white zetsus so the kages decided to bring the only person who can tell copy-cat zetsus from normal people.

"Hokage, welcome. You're the last one." The Hokage joined the other kages who stood in front of Orochimaru and a tall pine box.

"Time to bring back brother Naruto." Konohamaru says, cracking his knuckles.

"War starts in five days. Ships and carriers from all villages are to arrive by then and we'll set up the groups." The mizukage reminds everyone.

"You can start, Lord Orochimaru." Says the kazekage. Orochimaru only nods and claps his hands together. Black writings tattoo the floor of the room and the pine box opens. Inside is the seventh hokage, fully dressed in his orange clothing, infamous white haori with red flames, and Hokage hat.

"Huh? Konohamaru?" The reanimated man notices the room.

"Lord seventh Hokage, welcome back." The five kage say.
