"Hamoko Kawasaki of the Hidden village in the Mist and Saruto Hyuga of the Hidden village in the leaves." Rock Lee announces. Sarada watched in anticipation at his boy in the fighting area. "Begin!"
"Let the matches begin, huh?" Taunts Hamoko, spinning a kunai on his finger. Saruto doesn't say a word. He doesn't want to instigate a battle that needs not to be harder than it should.
Hamoko takes the first dive into battle. Hamoko is an Earth and water-style user. Becuase of he wasn't used to Earth style, he only really used water-style jutsus. He first put his hands to the ground, making it rise in spikes, making the floor claw Saruto to captivity. Saruto in turn didn't respond by jumping or dodging, he just hit the floor with the legendary strength of his mother and grandmother to counterattack the Earth jutsu.
"Would anyone really believe it? A person like you is the actual bloodline of three generations of powerful kages working towards peace." Homoko continued to prod at the boy's mind. Out of the five kages looking overhead the arena, Sarada scowled at the Hidden Mist boy's words but unshockingly, the boy kept going. "You're weak like that girl in your group I defeated. I will become Mizukage and stop nonsense like you so full peace can officially be achieved."
Saruto, emotionless but despaired at his words, attacked. He gathered chakra in the form of strong wind and with miniature wind knives, landed a hit on Hamoko who thought he could take it out with a defense water wall. Saruto was told to not use excessive chakra for this competition and he was humble to have done so anyways.
"You don't know anything about true conflict so don't speak upon so. My grandfather met villains who antagonized villages just because they were broken. If people like me—as you say—die, it wouldn't change anything. You have food on your table, a shelter, parents, and probably friends and siblings. There is no perfect world or perfect peace but hopefully, if I pass, those who carry my legacy would change most of the pain and that would be enough for me." Saruto shocked everyone in the crowd and was ready to put his hands up in volunteering defeat until it hit him. He looked up and instantly activates his new mangekyo sharingan and nine-tails chakra.
The arena along with Hamoko watch in horror as intense power grew in a blink of an eye in the boy. The kages stood up, ready to hold Saruto back, thinking that some emotion hit him to kill or permanently injure Hamoko until Saruto launched from the ground to face the floating creature up above.
The chunin exam tradition happens to each of the legendary Uzumaki boy's first chunin exams: the Orochimaru invasion for his grandfather, the Otsutsuki capture for his father, and now a clear interruption for him by the same offender.
Once their eyes set on the floating Otsutsuki, the kages acted. They removed all civilians and genins from the area as quickly as they could. Where was the Yamanaka clan? They monitor the chakra of everyone within the village.
"Momoshiki Otsutsuki. Leave the village, you intruder." Saruto faces the antagonist as he holds himself up with the nine-tails chakra.
"Aww, but I just got here, child of my former vessel... and I guess a true descendant of Kaguya which means you have similar blood to mine."
"How did you get in without being noticed?" Saruto asks, desperately stretching out the conversation so everyone can escape. "Wait. Your chakra is oddly familiar. It isn't...yours."
"I'm sure you're smart enough to know who Koji Kashin is." Suddenly, it hits Saruto. Koji Kashin was a working clone of Jiraiya, a great sannin who taught his grandfather almost everything in the ninja world. "It took months to develop his cells once again but we had to scientifically merge his cells to our bodies to form his chakra. Our chakra intensifies as Koji Kashin but we are able to use our own abilities."
In the ground, the kages have most of the civilians out of the premises.
"Boruto. Boruto, are you there?" Sarada connects her earpiece to her husband, an easier and more successful form of communication than using mind transfer jutsu with the Yamanaka group. This not-so-new but newly developed earpiece can reach anyone from Konoha to the Cloud village.
"Yeah. We got word of what's happening there. We just got our hands full with evacuating civilians to the mountain-side. I've informed plenty of Konoha officials, we should be ab-"
"Boruto? Boruto, what happened?" Sarada anxiously calls to her husband, taking a group of ten civilians out the arena.
"Isshiki just arrived with Code to the main wall. Try to lure Momoshiki here so we can take them down outside the village. Where's Saruto?"
"He's facing Momoshiki. I'll get him. Quickly now, before Isshiki and Momoshiki do something major."
"Saruto, try anything to lead Momoshiki to the main gates. Isshiki and Code have shown up there so we'll try our best to take them down outside the city." Sarada informs her son of the plans through the digital earpiece and Saruto complies.
"Momoshiki, you came here for me, right?" Saruto suggests with a slight taunting tone. Momoshiki raises an eyebrow and laughs. "Then you wouldn't mind playing a game of chase?" Before Momoshiki could get a word out, Saruto dove and quickly ran, making his way towards his father. He jumped above houses and slung his body from skyscrapers with his nine extra chakra limbs. Momoshiki followed. He didn't want to be reprimanded by Isshiki who currently had all power over him as an Otsutsuki with a higher rant. He couldn't afford to lose the boy.
