47.) Karasuki

"You came late." Isshiki snorts.

"Since my youngest son was dead, I was wondering if I wanted to help you out at all but then I decided I didn't want to be apart of the tree." Kaguya flies near Momoshiki and takes the absorbed chakra from Saruto and forms chakra pills, giving it to the deprived Otsutsukian. Isshiki opens portals to gather the scientific ninja tools needed for the chakra tree and their plan.

"Y-you could-ldn't a-absorb my ch-chakra all at o-nce, c-could y-you?" Saruto shakingly asks. The three Otsutsuki members ignored this inquiry as the allied shinobi forces all ran towards the three antagonists. Kaguya instantly shut that down, having the right amount of chakra to freeze the rest of the battlefield, including Code and Ankoku. This ability was common in the Otsutsuki clan. They could freeze chakra. In a world like this Earth where chakra is in every body, they could freeze everyone, especially those who have better control than others (the shinobi).

"How about Code?" Momoshiki points out.

"He's human. He used to be a semi-vessel of mine but he is no longer part of the project." Isshiki says.

Kaguya puts her palm to the ground and rises the dirt to create a table with intricate Otsutsuki symbols around the sides. She puts the weakened boy on top. Saruto, who couldn't even lift a finger, did nothing.

Together, Momoshiki and Isshiki place three unfamiliar Otsutsuki tools around Saruto including Karasuki which they kept floating above Saruto.

"Let us begin." Kaguya says.

The three chant Otsutsuki language and walk around the dirt table. They then placed their hands on the table on different sides and released their individual chakra to the three Otsutsuki tools they placed on the tables. They chant one more phrase of the Otsutsukian language and it began.

Different colors depending on Saruto's abilities slowly flowed out of his body and into the three Otsutsukian tools which then collected together to send to the top of the Karasuki shell. It was slow but it was painful for the rest of the battle field who watched as Saruto's chakra is taken from him.

Sasuke couldn't look away. He couldn't do anything. This wasn't genjutsu and there was no release but he still felt the once coursing chakra in his body drop like lead. He then thought about it: if he had an excessive amount of chakra, he can at least make a portal and get out of Kaguya's chakra range. He opens a portal beneath his feet without anyone noticing. He still couldn't move but he was grateful to have gained his useful rinnigan-Sharingan eye after death. Through portals he went and finally, he found it. Naruto was sent through the same dimension that team seven was sent through. It was the same dimension with the same effects. It was the dimension Kaguya was sealed in for decades.

So that's how Isshiki signaled Kaguya, huh?

Naruto spots Sasuke and they nod at each other, Sasuke finally able to move and explain everything to the other man as they traveled back into the battlefield where he tries to take note of everything.

Without thinking, Naruto reforms a weakened Kurama state and hits Kaguya in the face. Since she didn't expect it, she lost focus and the freeze jutsu wore off.

"Heh. You didn't have enough chakra to keep it like that, did you?" Sasuke mocks.

"Laugh all you want but you don't get it do you?" Isshiki sneers. "We're done here." That's when Naruto and Sasuke notice. Chakra was no longer flowing from Saruto. Karasuki is already activated and already starting to form dimensions.

"We've won."

Naruto stares blankly at that. What does that even mean?

"Saruto Hyuga is dead." It was deathly silent except for an irritating whining subtle screech coming from the time-traveling device.  Karasuki formed a straight white line of chakra into the sky. Out of the line of chakra came colors that indicated different times areas that were opened all flowing away from the white line. As the first instinct of someone when they see something too big to handle, they run from danger and that's what the rest of the allied shinobi forces did.

"Naruto, let's go!" Hinata pulls at her husband's arm but he was frozen. He couldn't get it through his mind. He had never been too late but this was it. This was the one time he was too late... the worst time he was too late.

Naturally, Boruto and Sarada try to grab their son's dead body but one huge burst of chakra blew everyone a mile in the range of Karasuki away, even Momoshiki, Isshiki and Kaguya.

Although it looked like chakra already left his body, Karasuki still continued to suck something bright and blue from Saruto's body... it came from near his eyes.

Isshiki instantly noticed from a few yards away where he was blasted to, he floated towards Karasuki just to grab Saruto's body.

As Kurama's chakra already activated, he was fine but Sarada and Boruto were not. Because of the chakra blast, they were knocked unconscious and it was either Saruto's body or Boruto and Sarada. He had no other choice as Kurama's chakra cloak took a tremendous hit. Sasuke with his activated Susano'o came rushing towards Naruto with Hinata and Sakura behind him in the cloak.

"We need to get out of here."
