52.) The Fight for Life

"I suppose the fight wasn't over yet but I had a bit of time to regenerate some of my energy." Kaguya says, referring to the chakra movements behind him.

"It's not like it's us who needs to fight anyways, Kaguya. Don't get so worked up." Momoshiki reminds the god-like alien. 

"I supposed but I can't let go of the fact that it was these two main inferior creatures who managed to seal me away." Kaguya adds. 

"I would say it was nice to see you again Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and the rest of your family but this moment will last only a little while longer." Momoshiki turns around and reveals Saruto, eye wide and blue, skin pale and body filled with moving chakra. 

"Don't get cocky Momoshiki. Hand me back my son." Sarada activates her sharingan once more and runs towards the three, only to be knocked back by a powerful, strong force.

"Saruto!" Boruto warns Sarada.

"And so it starts," Isshiki sits on the ground, placing his fist into his chin and summoning a glass of wine.

The battle grew long and tiring for the hidden leaf shinobi. Saruto was unmovable and was 100% under the control of the three otsutsukians. No words can move the dead puppet so the Uchiha, Hyuga and Uzumaki families kept to their promise and plan and tried to make at least one hit to the boy. Quite unfortunately, the big family couldn't even hit the boy once. He was much too powerful. As time moved, the three families grew more tired and chakra-deprived. Shinobis from all over came to help fight and some even started to target the three otsutsukians. The longer the time portals were open, they shifted towards Karasuki and grew big to the point where buildings popped out of the portals and merged. Karasuki's location wasn't super far from where the battle was currently happening so the allies could see what was going on.

"This is pointless. We can't get a hit on him. He doesn't have a weakness." Naruto yells through one of Sasuke's loud attempted chidori hits.

"There might be one thing that could work." Sarada mentions, nodding to Boruto. 

"And you're telling us this now?!" Naruto begins a rant. "Out of-"

"It was a fail safe if Saruto was to be taken away alive from us. He agreed to put the scientific ninja tool in himself." Sarada continues. "I'm not sure if it works with a dead host."

"We can always try." Neji says, blocking one of Saruto's hits.

"Using this scientific ninja tool attached to him, we can teleport as close to his skin as we want to. If we're quick enough, we can attack him." Sarada explains.

"I got it. I'll prepare a massage rasengan." Boruto says, putting his palms together and activating his chakra once more. "Mr. Sasuke, do you have my back?" Sasuke nodds and Boruto transports him and his teacher through the scientific ninja tool, getting super close to Saruto and hitting him on the side with a rasengan.

"Did he hit it? The bag?" Naruto strains his eyes to see blue crystal shards. 

"He did! It's activated," Ankoku pops up from behind the ninth hokage and smiles. Suddenly, Ankoku kneels and coughs out blood. 

"Are you okay? We need a medic!" Sarada cries.

"I'm glad." Ankoku starts to say. "My second life could be put to use rather than for war." Ankoku collapses on the floor as Saruto drops from the sky. Sakura rushes to the boy and feels for a pulse. 

"He's alive. I'll take Hinata with me and we'll take him back to base. You guys take care of the Otsutsukians." Sarada nods her mother and activates her susano'o towards the three otsutsukians, making Isshiki her target.

"It didn't work you fool Momoshiki." Kaguya yells at the man. "Now one of us has to transform into that." 

"I'll do it. If my weak form doesn't make it out alive, just make a good enough chakra fruit, both of you." Isshiki claps his hands together and summons the shinobi's newest and biggest opponent.

"No." Naruto says. 

"Ten tails." Sasuke identifies and jumps from the floor to hit the creature hard.

"Seventh hokage, look behind us!" Sarada yells from behind. The worlds are clashing and the people within those worlds are starting to merge within themselves from a different time. "We need to find a way to close it before it affects us in the later time period." 

"Do we have another team on stand-by? We need someone to take down Karasuki or at least seal it away." Naruto commands. 

"We might not but I can connect with Inojin to ask and send available shinobi." Sarada responds. Naruto nods and goes towards the ten tails for an attack.

"Now to don't assume to quickly. It's here under my command but not to defeat you alone." Isshiki's voice booms. The shinobi look uneasily to each other and something quickly spreads accross Isshiki's body like karma. 

"It's a seal." Sasuke identifies the strange marking. His eyes widen. "He's planning on becoming a jinchuriki!" Isshiki only laughs and the ten tails' form disappears completely, leaving a black smoking ball in the middle of the battle field.

"Retreat for now!" Naruto commands.
