In the middle of the war, Naruto's consciousness was sent to the room of the tailed beasts where Naruto first met all nine tailed beasts so many years ago. This time, it wasn't the tailed beasts but it was the past jinchurikis and holders of Kurama's chakra.
"Welcome Naruto," Mito, wife of the first Hokage, says. Kushina, Minato, Himawari, Ginkaku, Kinkaku, Hamagoromo, Obito, Madara, and Sora of the temple were all there with different sized kuramas.
"I'm glad I can have you all here. Everyone is revived so I can contact you all." Kurama speaks to the bundle.
"Is this about that intense chakra?" Minato asks.
"Yes. He's headed your way and you need to stop him. Something is wrong. He's not controlling himself."
"Kurama, who is it?" Naruto says.
"He's your grandson, Naruto." Kurama admits, making everyone in the room shocked.
"Is he Boruto's...?" Himawari starts. Kurama nods and turns away.
"I helped him control my chakra but black zetsu had done something to him. The boy who's walking this way doesn't seem like the same person."
"Okay, thank you nine-tails, we'll do what we can." Mito says.
