CHAPTER 8: Childhood Friend

It's almost a month ko ng nililigawan si Fortalejo at ang koya niyo, still pahard-to-get ang drama. Naaasar ako sa kanya, na siya naman na ikinatuwa ko kay mama at papa. Tinutulungan kasi nila ako mapalapit kay Fortalejo. Just like what happened last Friday...

(FLASHBACK)

Kakauwi ko lang from our company because Kuya needed my gorgeous help. Yun nga, kakatapos ko lang magpalit ng pambahay nang magring ang phone ko.

Mama Calling.....

Napatawag si mama bigla, bakit kaya? Sinagot ko na ito...

"Hello ma?" bati ko sa kanya

"Hi dear! Where are you?" ang lambing talaga ng boses niya *hart *hart

"Home, kakarating ko lang po from office."

"Perfect! Dito ka na magdinner hija. Let's chitchat for a while." uhmm...?

"Kasi... ma... hindi po ba nakakahiya?" Great Apathie! Ngayon ka pa nahiya!

"Silly dear. Of course not! *chuckles* so my driver will be there to fetch you. See you!"

"S-see you ma." then she ended the call *sigh*

GOSH! Sabi ko nga magbi-bihis na ako eh. Si mama talaga... *smile* I chose to wear a simple peach dress that's above the knee paired with flat sandals.

Sandali palang, dumating na agad yung driver na sinasabi ni mama. I saw Kuya in the sala facing his laptop again. Nagpaalam ako sa kanya at pumayag naman siya.

(AFTER 30 MINS)

We arrived at Fortalejo's Mansion. Sinalubong ako ni Mama sa pinto palang at hinila niya ako papunta sa dining hall where I saw the cold-jerk and papa waiting for us or should I say for me? *blush* Pina-upo ako ni mama sa tabi ni cold-jerk then we ate PEACEFULLY! Kasi walang gusto magsalita sa amin.

"Son, you didn't tell us that Apathie here is courting you." Papa break-the-ice between us all

"Because it's not important." cold na sagot niya

"Oh son! Apathie is a great beautiful young lady. Why don't you court her instead of her courting you?" -mama. Geez! Ang awkward naman dito. :3

"I don't want to. Magsasawa din yan." OUCH?! RUDE AS EVER COLD-JERK!

"Ma, pa, wag na po natin kulitin ang PRINSIPE natin, baka po kasi mapikon... mahirap na." diniinan ko talaga yung Prinsipe na word. *smirk*

"I'm done." at nag walk-out siya

Humingi ng pasensya sa akin si Mama at Papa and I told them that IT'S OKAY. Even if it's not. Naaasar ako sa kanya! Napaka-rude niya talaga kahit pa sa harap ng parents niya. But I won't back down. Gabriel ata ako! *flip hair*

(PRESENT)

Nasa office ako ngayon at suuuuper busy. When I say busy... solitaire, text twist, 2048, tetris, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr at Youtube. WALA EH! I'm bored.

Mommy Goddess Calling.....

Si mommy lang pala. *roll eyes* WAIT! Si mommy?! GOSH! Si mommy nga! I hurriedly answer the call...

"Mommy!!! I super missed you!" patili kong sabi

"*chuckles* Halata nga. Hahaha I missed you too baby, BIG TIME! Where are you?" ang cool talaga ni mommy

"Office mommy. Kayo po? Nakauwi na po ba kayo?" I can feel my eyes twinkling because of hearing mommy's voice

"Look outside baby." pagtingin ko sa glass door ng office ko, I saw mommy... Gorgeous as ever
