Ebba watched the interaction between Sean and Mnemosyne from high above the trees, then as her Orb steered a course to Mt. Buffalo, she sat cross legged and watched them in a hologram.  She was convinced the woman, yet girl, had taken Lo's spirit. The Little Lo had reached deep down inside and an animal cunning had bloomed. She smiled when she saw Mnem hide the bone wolf. Ebba felt the loss of her specie's relic and memories crowded. It would not be guessed that she would part with it.
Ebba's eyes twitched when Sean stood, he himself had not changed, the Rock Movers, the ancient race of men were reaching for him - she saw his fight with them. He was wholly unsuitable.
Her mind wandered back through the eons, the Rock Movers had been very advanced, their remnant technologies had been gifted to subsequent civilizations who had promised much with pyramids and pristine structures of stone. Then, war, always war. What hope a mediocre man who's loyalty was to his own pleasure? What civilization could Sean's inherent traits promise? Debauchery, laziness? Much better to move the people back to nature, back to Eden. Place the apple back on the tree.
Mnemosyne would need help, strong living spirits - man and beast. Ebba's mind raced through scenarios. Perez would not know she was abroad - that fact must be maintained. She could not interact with any of the remaining crystal bearers, bar one.
It would be foolish to side with the elites, their fingers were trigger ready, even on their own peoples. No, they were a major factor but not one she would visit.  There was only one she must get to, Lett - and her impending twin gets. The operative? He would support the vixen! As she raced to the bare mountain she whispered charms, that Perez would be blinded to her and that Macka and the heavily pregnant Lett lived.
