A Ready Made Family

Mrs Simms
I call the foster home and ask them to have the Thomas children ready to receive visitors this week. Mrs Smith is one of the best foster parents we have ever had. I call Mrs Grey and explain everything to her and she gets her husband on a three way call. I explain everything to them and ask if they think they would like to meet the children before making a decision. Mr Grey tells me that they can go ahead and start the adoption process including the unborn baby. He has been a father since 17 and I met Jessica and she's a very well behaved teenager. She wants siblings. Mrs Grey is having problems getting pregnant because of female issues. She is shy talking about it.
Anastasia
I can't wait to meet the children and we will be taking them home if they like us. Jessica will be thrilled. I have to talk to Gail about hiring her nieces as nannies or housekeepers if she wants to care for the children when we need them.Christian wants to take time off to make sure they are adjusting to us. He wants more staff anyway. Now that we live in that huge house on the sound it's too big for one person to handle.

I made Gail our house manager over all our residences and that comes with a heft raise and she hires and fires house staff as she sees fit. I should have gave the title and raise to her a long time ago. I think a bonus will be included in her new position. I will email all the staff notifying them that she's in charge of all staff at each residence. Gail will also promote as she sees fit. She will also fire as well. She will have to choose someone she trusts to be the boss with the ability to hire and fire staff at the residence. All staff still has to go through thorough background checks.

Jason did you know about my promotion and bonus?

I also got a raise and a promotion. I am head of security for all of GEH and will be in charge of of hiring and firing staff as needed. We are going to have four new charges as you might have been told. Each residence needs child proofed and we need mannies and nannies. Preferably ones who aren't wanting to seduce mr or Mrs Grey. We are both interviewing them.
Gail
Ahh so we can eliminate the gold diggers of both sexes lol. I have ordered the things for the nursery and the three other bedrooms. Baby monitors and everything for a baby. I guess the Grey's are going to take time off to get them used to being here and around them and all of us. We need car seats and a minivan.
Jason
I have that taken care of already. I have a few new CPOs to interview I think you should sit in on the interviews as well. They are all female. Then I am hiring the four we already checked and didn't have the positions ready and now we do. They will be living in the staff house and Escala in the corporate apartments.
Grace
Christian told me they are going to meet three young children who are up for adoption and a baby will be born soon that is their sibling. I am stunned and ask him if they can handle that all at once. I think about how well he handled taking care of Jessica. Anastasia was good as well. I am curious son I ask if it is an open adoption.
Christian
No it's a closed adoption for safety reasons, the children's safety. The mother hasn't given birth yet. She's already given her rights away to it.
Grace
I assume you are preparing for them and so are all your staff. What do you need from me?
Christian
Well we want you to check them over for us and recommend a good pediatrician please. I want to ask to create a safe play and sleep area at your home for when we come to visit.
Grace
Have you picked them up yet?
Christian
We meet them tomorrow and if all goes well they come home with us.
Grace
You don't do anything in a small way or one step at a time do you?
Christian
Anastasia wanted to go for it mom, she thinks if we pass on it they might not be another chance for a newborn baby. And since they are all siblings they can comfort each other.
Grace
That sounds like a good idea. So five children at once. We need to update our family photos and this will be a good chance. Send someone to look at the rooms to make them ready for young children. How old are they?
Christian
Three, two, one and not born yet.
Grace
Wow, they didn't take much of a break between births did they?
Christian
I am just happy we have the resources to give them a good and loving home to live in and a safe one.
Anastasia
I hear Christian making plans to redo his parents home for the new additions to our family and hear something about family photos needing updated. He hangs up and comes in the kitchen and we have dinner with Jessica. We finally get time with her between her after school activities and her homework we see her about two hours out of the day. We have to set an appointment to see her. Or she comes to see us at work. She's 14 and high school is really exciting for her. She knows about sex and we have had the talk about boys pressuring her or her pressuring boys to have sex. Girls and boys hormones go wild and they don't stop and think they could be creating a small human while scratching an itch. She rolled her eyes and told us she researched sex on line. Christian nearly took her computer away from her. We had a talk with her and had her show us the site she looked at. Luckily she went to a medical site that Grace recommended.

Grandma gave me a site that explained a lot about sex and how to have a good sex life. She also gave me the site that explains childbirth and everything that happens and what could go wrong. Mom and dad look at me like they are talking to a grown up. I figured Grace being a doctor she could answer all my questions about the female body. Plus she and I were shopping when my first cycle started. She made sure I was comfortable and had a salesperson have our female CPO go buy female products. So we had the talk and she game me medical sites to find answers to my questions. So I am very prepared. Mom and dad approved of the sites after seeing them. They asked me not to feel uncomfortable to ask them or grandma questions of this nature again.

Well we have something to tell you. Do you still want siblings?
Jessica
Will I have to babysit them?
Anastasia
No, but playing with them would help them get to know you and vice versa. We are meeting three of the four children who need a home tomorrow. Your grandma wants to get updated family photos soon afterward. I think we will wait until after their sibling is born.
Jessica
Wait how old are these children?
Christian
Three, two, one and one not born yet.
Jessica
Wow those are very young children. Can I go to meet them as well? Do you know when the baby will be born?
Anastasia
We can take you with us, the baby is due in two weeks. It's a closed adoption, so we won't know the parents and they won't know us.
