Crying wolf

It's been a month since Jessica has come into the world. I go to school and come home every night to feed diaper and play with her. Mom hired a nanny to help out with her. I have kept my grades up enough to get a scholarship.
Jessica has learned if she cries I pick her up, so she's been testing us out.
There's been nothing found on the hit and run vehicle. So Julie hasn't gotten any justice.
Mom and my sister drag me baby shopping and they chose so much for Jessica. She was very good until we bumped into Elena, when Elena looked at her she screamed her head off. Her eyes streaming tears. We excused ourselves and got away from her quickly. Mom said babies are a good judge of character. I held Jessica in my arms until she fell asleep. We got her all kinds of clothing and diapers.
It's been 6 months since her birth and she's been teething, so I've been awakened by fevers and the such. Mom has been helpful and I have Mia and Elliott helping me as well at this point. My grandparents are going to come by today and have a surprise. Jessica and I greet them at the door, grandmother is all over Jessica and grandfather is asking me to join him in dad's office. I follow him and dad into the office. They have me sit down and dad starts pulling out papers and grandfather looks at me and says listen Christian, I am paying for college for you and a trust for little Jessica. I am also going to consider loaning you the upstart money for the business idea of yours. Since you are not 18 yet your dad will help on any contracts involved. But I will expect a return on my investment besides quality time with Jessica. I expect visits from you both. I hear a sudden scream from the other room, I jump and see Jessica being tickled by Elliott. Omg I thought she was hurt. She laughs at us all. I agreed to grandfather's terms. I sign my name to everything and we agree to one visit a month.
Now I am getting Jessica ready for her birthday party on July 15 thats her first birthday. All the family is here and it's a two for one celebration. I bought a company and turned it around and made a million in the meantime. All while in my senior year in high school. I turned 17 on June 18 so my dad signed. Dad and I paid back grandfather immediately with interest. I spent time holding Jessica and researching new investments as well. I also spent time getting my homework done. My schedule was very tight. So tight in fact I almost forgot to get ready for my graduation from high school.
Jessica is going to be two now and she's walking or running should I say, and let's not forget her talking. I have been potty training her and showing her table manners lol. Like not throwing food at others or putting your bowl on your head. Mom and the rest of the family have really helped out quite a lot. And my grandparents love our monthly visits. I keep my word to everyone. I can't wait until Jessica is big enough to come sailing with me. Right now I can't take her alone because I need to keep a close eye on her.
I have now been able to buy a nice office building for Grey Enterprise Holdings. I also created a daycare center for working parents to leave their children at while working for me. I am at almost two billion in assets I have been buying selling and building companies into successes. I am going to get more involved in philanthropic ventures involving development of crops to adapt to drought and blighted countries. I also ship goods and create services for the impoverished. And have created a charity to help single parents or grandparents to get the needed help they so deserve.
Jessica started her new school and since she's so tiny I hired a body guard to protect her at all times. We have a nanny as well, the same one we had since her homecoming from the hospital. Her name is Ruth Dwyer, she's older, but is very good with Jessica and knows about children's illnesses. Shes calmed me down after the first big incident where Jessica couldn't stop throwing up. I was taught how to take care of her and help her over it calmly. I still panic when she won't eat.
I will always make sure she eats all her food, I have plenty of food since Grace and Carrick adopted me, before I barely got fed or any attention well positive attention that is. My mom was too into her drugs to feed or bathe me at all. But her pimp sure gave me a lot of negative attention. Cigarette burns and belts and let's not forget him punching me. When I found my mother dead I didn't know what to do, I hadn't ate for a while when he finally contacted the cops about her death I was close to death.
Anyway Jessica likes to visit me in my office when she's not in school. Which is holidays and summertime. Everyone here knows to let her come in immediately. Mom thinks she's a mini me has my eyes and hair, but she has Julie's shy nature. Even though Julie and I weren't in love, I took plenty of pictures of her pregnant. We also had lots of family pictures together, I wanted Jessica to have memories I never got. I have one of Jule and I just before we left the day she was killed by the car. I put it in a locket for Jessica for her 5th birthday.
Jessica just turned 11 and asking me for a sibling lol. She would love a mother too, to go along with that. I guess it wouldn't hurt to see what it's like out there to date. Elliott has been on me to go out, but I have had bad dates and they never got passed Jessica's scrutiny. Love my daughter first, then love me, but if it's my money you are after take your shovel somewhere else.
I am taking Jessica to my grandparents family reunion this weekend to visit. Elliott's bringing some lady friend of his and of course her friend. Can we say setup. Oh well it's only for the weekend and Jessica knows how to handle gold diggers by now. Since I am worth 40 billion dollars and have homes in 10 different locations at this point. Jessica goes sailing with me a lot now that's she's able to handle some of the rigging.
I have security with us at all times now, someone attempted to kidnap Jessica from daycare, before I created one in my building. The nanny was ill that day and the daycare was our regular one for emergencies. So security is with her everywhere now.  The daycare attendant kicked the kidnappers ass, I guess she was trained in self defense by her ex military father. I donated money to the daycare for anything they needed it for. Now we no longer need that daycare because Jessica is too old and we have a new system here for older children to develop their abilities while their parents work.
I actually hired one of the kids who developed his computer skills there. He was 15 and getting into trouble a lot, so his parents both worked here and begged us to implement the training programs for minors. It's worked quite well for all of us. The kid was a tech genius. So now I have a 16 year old running my tech departments. My older staff was not so happy, but he's like 1000 times better than they are so I chose him.  But they still do their jobs, but he also guides them to learn new tech skills all the time. When not in school he teaches the other minors as well. Barney was a dream come true and his parents and I are happy he's turned himself around.
Anyway we arrive at the grandparents house where cousins, aunts, uncles and my family have already arrived. Jessica runs to greet her cousins, she's like the middle aged in the group of kids. Elliott is heading this way with two ladies following him, and he introduces the blonde as Kate and then the brunette as Anastasia. Both are quite pretty, but Anastasia is gorgeous with bright blue eyes to get lost in, and I realize I met her before someplace. All the sudden Jessica gets Anastasia in a huge hug.
It turns out that Anastasia was her savior the day some guy tried to kidnap her. I am dumbfounded to say the least. She was just there that day to help a good friend out. Turns out Anastasia was in high school back then and  was free that day. She's now a college graduate working as an editor at SIP. But she left an impression on Jessica for saving her. She looked quite different back then though, she had glasses on and wore frumpy clothes to hide her great figure as I again notice how well she's put together.
I am startled by Jessica saying something about eating, but I can't stop looking at Anastasia. Elliott grabs me by the arm and asks me if we could give Anastasia a ride back home when we leave? Huh, well ask Jessica and then Anastasia about it and I will if they wish. Everything is going great today and Jessica involves Anastasia in everything we do. Talk about getting to the point, Jessica tells me she thinks I should marry Anastasia and give her siblings. Omg can we say precocious. I shake my head at her and say it doesn't work that quickly Jessica.
She then drags my parents and grandparents into this conversation, and they are chuckling about it. They have met and liked Anastasia and thinks I should ask her out on a date. So I give in, since she has everyone's seal of approval. Now I am no recluse when it came to dating, I just dated the wrong women. Like the one who tried to trap me into marrying her with a fake pregnancy. Or the one who pretended to like Jessica and was on the phone saying oh yes after I marry him the brat goes elsewhere. And let's not forget the one who needs a loan to pay her apartment rent. It was 10grand a month, I think not.
So driving home at the end of a very pleasant weekend, we are all talking about everything, when Jessica invites Anastasia for dinner on Friday. They both look to me, I say it's her home too so it's up to you if you want to see our messy home. Friday comes and Jessica is beside herself and mad at me for wearing  jeans and my T-shirt. I grab another shirt to appease her. We are standing at the entrance to the doorway awaiting Anastasia when I get a call from someone I really have told to leave me alone or go to jail. I call Taylor and Sawyer and give them a heads up on the problem. The girl named Leila is still trying the fake pregnancy on me. I tell Taylor to get Welch into her medical records and fast.
I rejoin Jessica who has now dragged poor Anastasia around our entire bottom floor and is now headed towards our bedrooms upstairs. I just wait, because I know what her next stop is going to be. Our gym,pool,music room, tv room, and playroom with all kinds of kids games and a pool table. She then shows her the patio and barbecue grill along with our meadows and gardens, not to mention our fenced pool and party areas. She also shows her the securities homes, along with our garage. I hear dinner time being called from the back door. We all head into the dining room and start eating the delicious salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes.  The meal and conversations were great, Jessica asks if we can watch a movie. Of course I agreed to the movie and Anastasia follows Jessica to the tv room. Jessica picks a movie called 51 dates. It was funny for sure, when she tries for another movie I remind her it's bed time. We both walk Anastasia to the door and I lean to kiss her on the cheek and sparks fly. She flinches a bit at the spark and looks me in the eyes. Omg she's more beautiful closer up. Jessica hugs her and invites her over again soon. Okay my little matchmaker is on the job again. I say that would be nice if you would like to join us on the boat next weekend and you are welcome to invite your boyfriend if you like. Okay trying to find out if she's available or attached. She laughs and says well not too subtle are you mr Grey. Trying to see if I have a boyfriend and I don't by the way. Been too busy getting educated to really have one, what about you? I say free, but not single hugging Jessica to me. Never single when you have children. I don't date often, but there are too many after my money to find the good ones. Are you one of the good ones? I laugh when I ask her that. She says well money is a good bonus, but love is a bigger bonus in life.
