Aditya

I was driving Abeer's car, Ravi sat on the front seat and Zoya, Dhara and Abeer were on the backseat. Abeer is a bit cautious with his new car so he wanted me to handle the bumpy ride.

"Dude! Even your car smells like coffee!!! I love it!" I had teased.

I could see Zoya glaring at me at times, sometimes it feels as if she's thinking something while she looks at me , sometimes it feels as if she was to pluck my eyeballs out of the sockets, but only when she didn’t think anyone was watching.

It was kind of funny, actually. I kept ribbing her. From what I gathered through my prodding, she’d told everyone the shirt was her boyfriend’s. I wasn’t going to say anything. Abeer didn’t need to have the thunder stolen from his new car by learning it had already been defiled, but I was drawing untold amounts of enjoyment from giving Zoya shit. And she didn’t take any of it lying down either. She matched me tit for tat.

But, one thing that was somehow bothering me more than I thought or expected...the fact that she had a boyfriend.   It's not that I've something for her or anything...I mean... it's not even been an hour since we've met...but it still.....felt like that wasn't something I'd have liked to know.

"So Aditya, you're a Pilot! Right?" She asked me.

"I am."

"Oh....Just was thinking...if you're any good at it? No problems stopping that thing when you need to?” She cocked her head.

“Nope. As long as someone doesn’t slam on the brakes right in front of me for shopping, I'm good. luckily that doesn't happen when we're in air.” I replied with a slight smile (smirk).

Glare. Smirk. Repeat.

And Dhara and Abeer were oblivious. It was the most fun I’d had in weeks.
Before anyone could say anything, Dhara spoke.

"You’ll be walking Zoya down the aisle at the wedding.” She smiled at her friend. “She’s my maid of honor.”

“I hope you walk better than you drive...or fly maybe.” Zoya mumbled under her breath.
I grinned and changed the subject before Dhara or Abeer asked questions.

"What do you do?" I asked, out of curiosity and something in me wants to keep hearing her.

"I'm a Management consultant."
Rich and Smart.
She said taking a bite from her chocolate bar.

yeah I'm looking at her from the rear view mirror, Ugh! I shouldn't be doing this....
A- I'm driving, I need to focus.
B- she's irresistibly attractive.
C- I'm driving and I really need to focus.

Adi!

It was drizzling now. I've managed to drive all of us here safely even though that girl in the backseat looks so cute while she listens to music and looks outside the window.

We all got off our cars and the girls trotted towards the local resort while two men from there came to help us take out the luggage.

Why do they have to bring so much luggage for a 10 day trip? I mean, one bag is understandable but one of the girls came and dragged two suitcases and a backpack towards the lobby. She may carry another one and I'd have nothing to say but I just can't help but wonder.....What do they put inside those bags? There was a time when I seriously used to believe that we boys are never taught how and what to pack and that's why we just  put 2 or maybe 3 pairs of clothes, perfume and toothbrush (if I can remember keeping that). I intentionally didn't bring my laptop, I don't have a job where I need to attend meetings and I am definitely not wasting any hour here watching something online.
