I sat on the couch, engrossed in the words of my book, but my attention kept drifting to Zoya, who was diligently working at her desk. She was focused, determined to finish her tasks so she could manage a few days of less work to pack her things and move in with me.
The thought filled me with excitement and anticipation, knowing that soon we would be sharing our lives under the same roof.
As I stole glances at her, I couldn't help but admire the way she looked in her satin night suit. The soft fabric hugged her curves, accentuating her beauty in the gentle glow of the lamp beside her desk. She was breathtaking, and I found myself unable to tear my eyes away from her.
Every now and then, she would push her glasses up on her nose, her movements graceful and effortless. The sight of her working so diligently, with her hair tied in a loose bun, only added to her allure.
A surge of love washed over me as I watched her, knowing that she was making sacrifices and working hard to be with me. It filled me with a sense of gratitude and admiration for the woman who had stolen my heart.
As I watched her work, a pang of sadness tugged at my heart as I remembered the tears that had stained her cheeks just yesterday.
It had been a difficult moment, seeing her so distraught because of Yash's troubling behavior. The memory of her tears haunted me, stirring a mixture of anger and helplessness within me.
I couldn't stand the thought of anyone causing her pain, especially someone from her past like Yash. Seeing her cry had ignited a fierce protectiveness in me, a determination to shield her from any harm that might come her way.
But as I looked at her now, focused and determined to overcome whatever challenges lay ahead, I felt a swell of admiration and love for her strength and resilience. Despite the hardships she had faced, she never let them hold her back. She faced them head-on, with courage and grace.
I vowed in that moment to always be there for her, to support her through whatever trials life threw our way. And as I stood by her side, watching her work with determination, I knew that together, we could overcome anything.
Setting aside my book, I rose from the couch and made my way over to her desk, unable to resist the urge to be closer to her. Leaning against the edge of her desk, I admired her for a moment before speaking.
"Hey," I said softly, my voice breaking the silence of the room.
Zoya looked up from her work, a warm smile spreading across her face when she saw me standing there. "Hey," she replied, her eyes sparkling with affection.
I reached out to gently tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear, savoring the feeling of her soft skin beneath my fingertips. "You know, you look incredibly hot when you're focused like this" I said, unable to contain my admiration.
Zoya blushed at my words, a shy smile playing on her lips. "Flattery won't take you anywhere..." she murmured, her cheeks flushing with color but her eyes glint with playfulness. Her shy smile only serving to enhance her beauty, I couldn't help but chuckle softly. Her playful response only fueled my desire to be closer to her, to bask in the warmth of her presence.
I chuckled as my heart swelled with love.
Leaning in closer, I slid the pew nearer to her desk and settled beside her, my hand gently caressing her neck. The touch of her skin sent shivers down my spine, igniting a fire within me that only she could quench.
