Harry's POV
Fuck. I had no idea. How was I supposed to know she got seasick. Fuck. This night was not going as planned. Fuck. Everything was ruined.
I had been friends with her for four years and had never been on a boat with her? What the hell?
She never felt the need to mention she got sea sick? She never felt the need to mention she hated sailing?
Fuck.
We really should be on our way to our engagement dinner right now. But, when everything else I had planned for the evening was supposed to be based off of her saying yes to my proposal..
I didn't even have the chance to propose. We didn't even have the chance to talk about anything. Maybe that was a good thing. Maybe that meant this wasn't the right moment to propose. Maybe it was a sign.
I didn't even have a ring yet, so that probably was a sign. A sign I wanted to rush things and have her be mine again but I already had her didn't i? I didn't need a ring and a stupid piece of paper to prove that, but this time I wanted it to be right. I wanted it to be a special moment and I wanted it to be something that she would remember forever.
"Harry?"
I snapped back to reality and smiled at the beautiful brunette next to me. She was amazing. Beyond amazing. I loved her so much. I loved everything about her. I was so glad Gemma sent her to me.
"Georgia?" I teased.
She giggled and I loved the sound. I fell in love with her all over again. Every time she laughed. I wanted to hear her laugh every day. I wanted to be the one to make her laugh.
"Harry.." She dragged my name out and God, no one ever made my name sound sexier. "You're lost in your own thoughts. What are you thinking about?"
"You," I smiled, unable to keep the grin off my face. I pulled her close to me and kissed her, letting my lips linger on hers.
She blushed slightly which was so unlike her. She was usually so confident and forward. She had been unusually shy around me this week. But she had also been unusually honest which was something I appreciated. "I'm right here, darling."
"I know, and there's no where I'd rather you be," I whispered against her lips.
"We need to talk about that," she said.
I swallowed and felt instantly panicked. I knew this moment would come during this week. Was i ready for it? I guess I didn't have any choice in the matter, though.
Georgia's POV
As soon as the words left my lips I felt Harry tense. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders in an attempt to pull him close to me and reassure him. I was pretty sure we were on the same page. That he wanted me just as bad as I wanted him. That we were going to be together and we were going to make it work.
"We can talk later if you want to?" I offered. I knew pushing it off would only prolong the inevitable though.
He drew his teeth in between his teeth. "Okay."
"What's next on the agenda?" And on to the next topic please to avoid any awkward silence.
"I thought we would get some dinner," he said. "But I have a better idea."
He started walking back towards the hotel and I was confused. He had mentioned he had a whole night out planned so why were we heading back to the resort?
"You look confused, love," he laughed after glancing back and noticing I hadn't followed him.
I shook my head. "Nope, let's go."
