"Tell me you didn't kiss Louis!" Harry muttered through gritted teeth.

"Tell me you're not going to be having a baby because I'm sure as hell not pregnant!" I hissed back.

"Wait. Please, just wait until we get to the hotel," he insisted.

"I'm not mad, I'm not mad, I'm not, we're going to talk about this when we get there and everything is going to be fine." I felt like I as reassuring myself more than him.

"I love you." The look in his green eyes was sincere.

"I love you, too." I meant it.

The car ride to the hotel we were staying at felt like forever. And there was more paparazzi when we got back to the hotel, shouting the same questions. Neither of us had bothered to turn on our phones yet. What would be the point? I'm sure both of our social media pages were cluttered with mentions and questions and theories about what was going on between the both of us. It seemed like forever too until we were checked in to our suite and finally, what felt like hours later, we were alone.

"Hungry?" He asked.

"I'm starved. Let me change, first and we can go." I changed into jeans and a dressier tank top than i would have normally picked and made sure to add more makeup than I normally would. I even went so far as to put on a pair of nude heels before we left.

"Dressed up for me?" He whispered in my ear as we got in the car he had ordered.

"You and the paparazzi and the fans," I laughed.

"At least I was first. You look good." He leaned in to kiss me before we were on our way. We pulled up in front of Craig's, one of Harry's favourite places in LA. I couldn't help but feel a bit out of place when I spotted some familiar celebrities and more especially when I remembered Harry had taken most of his famous girlfriends here.

I scanned the menu, ordering the first pizza I saw, thankful when Harry ordered quickly, knowing what he wanted already.

"Are we here for a specific reason?" I couldn't help but ask, glancing around. Despite the other celebrities in the restaurant, we seemed to be gaining more attention than everyone else.

"I missed the food?" He asked innocently. But he scanned the crowd, just as I had. "Excuse me for a second."

He got up and walked away from the table. I noticed him stop at another table and speak to someone before a blonde girl who was at the table got up and followed him out.

My heart skipped a beat but I kept my calm. I ordered a gin and tonic for myself when the waiter came by to calm my nerves until Harry came back. Which didn't happen when I ordered my second drink or even when the food came. I didn't know what to do so I had it sent back and went to find Harry, wishing I hadn't when I heard him shouting.

I followed the sound of his voice and came upon him shouting at the blonde girl he had gotten from the table earlier. I presumed her to be Lila, his ex girlfriend. He was waving his hands and cursing up a storm but stopped when he saw me. He waved me over to him. I hesitantly walked over.

"Georgia, this is Lila. Lila, Georgia."

"Hi," I said awkwardly.

She waved her hand but stared at Harry.

"Lila has something she wants to tell us," Harry said.

"I'm not pregnant," she said, gesturing to her slim figure.

"Okay..." I glanced between Harry and her.

"I told you, I'm not Harry. I'll take a test if you want me too but every time we had sex, we used a condom!" She exclaimed.

I cringed at the idea of Harry sleeping with someone else when we were apart but honestly what did I expect?

"I think we believe you, Lila," i tugged on Harry's hand.

"You should still take a test.. For me.." Harry said as I dragged him away from Lila.

Our food came out shortly after we sat down. "So that's Lila.." I commented.

Harry nodded.

Cool.

Awkward silence.

Just what I wanted to come to Los Angeles for.

We finished our meals and left shortly thereafter. We sat in silence the car ride back to the hotel. We rode the elevator up to the room in silence. We showered in silence. We got ready for bed in silence.

"Did you kiss Louis recently?"

"I.."

"So you did," he sighed and turned away from me.

"Don't do this, don't shut off immediately. Look, let me explain, please!" I pleaded.

"Go on," he waved his arm for me to go on.

"I was walking past your house, our old house and was passing by Louis' when he called me. I brushed him off but he came out to talk to me and wanted to get breakfast so I agreed and he tried to apologise but his apologies were half assed so I left. But he followed me out, told me he still loved me and he kissed me. I pushed him away from him immediately but we were seen going in to the cafe and of course we were seen coming out and him kissing me and then I left for Hawaii the next day so I didn't really deal with the tabloids too much until now, and I guess since we were seen together in Hawaii it's gotten a bit out of control."

He stared at me a while before nodding. "Okay."

"Okay?"

"I believe you. If you say that's what happened then I believe you. I.. We don't have this with Lila, Louis is still going to be an ass of epic proportions and we seem to have nothing to worry about. Good night."

He leaned in and kissed my forehead gently before pulling down the covers. I followed him but felt uneasy about the situation. It almost seemed as if we had gotten over things too easy. Why did I almost feel like this was the calm before the storm?

The next few days were weird. While there were still rumours in the tabloids about Harry and I and Louis and I and Harry being a dad. We did some sightseeing around the city since I hadn't been in a few years. Harry took me to some of his favourite places and we ate more frozen yogurt than I would have thought possible but it was difficult to do much when he was being stalked by the paparazzi and his fans.

Before I knew it, the week was almost over and despite spending time with Harry, I was beginning to wonder why we had even come to LA aside from the great weather. It was hot without being too humid, a change from England and a change from Hawaii. It was nice, but things seemed weird between us even though we both vowed they wouldn't be.

On the few occasions I did try to talk to Harry, he brushed me off with a dismissive wave of his hand, saying everything was fine. Our second to last day in LA, he claimed he had some errands to take care of and left me alone to do some shopping, handing me his credit card and dripping me off at a mall.

I found a few things I liked, but I wasn't really in the mood to shop. I found a coffee shop and ordered myself a latte and found a seat outside so I could soak up a bit of the sun while I waited for Harry to come back.

"Georgia?"

I turned around and saw the last person I expected to see.

Ruby.

Was she..?

"It's been so long! What almost five months!" She exclaimed rushing over to me. She wrapped me up in a hug, her stomach bumping into me and there was no denying it. She was.

"How have you been?" She asked.

"Um, I," I couldn't help but stare at her stomach.

"I know," she said, rubbing her hands over her pregnant belly. "I would be disbelieving as well if it weren't for the morning sickness, the swollen ankles, the cravings.." She trailed off.

"Congrats!" I didn't know what else to say, still taking in her stomach and trying to do the math in my head. Five months ago..

No.

She bit her lip. "He didn't tell you, did he?"
