Levi & Survey Corps

We departed from Biology Lab. Hanji begun. "I don't know much but I think Petra liked Levi." My expressions changed on hearing this. I was kinda, surprised. Hanji understood I knew something. She asked whether I know something or not. I sighed. "Don't tell this to anyone. Its a secret between us." "Sure. Your secret is safe with me." I then revealed the secret Petra told to me. She listened carefully.

After I completed, I realised we reached Infirmary. Hanji collected the First Aid while I checked on Eren for once. He is still sleeping. Good. I and Hanji then left for Erwin's office.

"So" Hanji began "Have Petra told about Levi being from Underground city?" "Yes she did told." I replied. "Do you know? even she don't know the whole story." "Whole story?" "Yes"

Hanji began "Even I don't know much about Levi's past. All I know before he joined he was a renowned criminal of the Underground." I was shocked. Levi. A Criminal. Now one of the best soldiers. I was shocked. And curious. I asked Hanji to explain in detail. She began.

"As mentioned, I don't know much about Levi's past.

Before Levi joined us, he used to live in Underground. In those times, there were two criminals from whom, even Military Police were afraid of.

Kenny, also known as Kenny The Ripper.

Levi. Just Levi."

"Just Levi?" I asked.

"Yes, he don't know much about his origin." she answered.

"I see. Please continue."

"Yes so in those times, we don't know how Levi and his mates got ODM gears but they learnt on their own to use it efficiently. 

His team comprised of two people- Farlan and Isabel.

These two joined the Survey Corps with Levi as well."

"What? These two were here? Where are they now?" I asked impatiently.

She replied, "Deceased".

I was silent.

She continued. "These three were a great nuisance, but they helped the needy. When anyone needed help, they went to Levi."

"They were like Robin Hood?" I asked.

"Kind of" she replied.

"So one day Levi and his friends robbed a shop and were fleeing.

This time, Survey Corps was involved. Erwin and Mike were sent to stop Levi and friends. Levi resisted well, but other team mates caught Farlan and Isabel so he had to surrender.

Seeing the ability of Levi and friends, Erwin invited them to join the Survey Corps.

I still remember. Their first day. They performed outstandingly in the training battle. Especially Levi. Erwin used to be a Squad Leader then and Levi and Erwin used to have a weird tension between them which I still don't know.

Then the day came. Levi's first expedition.

Erwin squad left. I wasn't in the squad but they took me Titans' Research Purpose. I was more than happy for it." A weird grin appeared on her face.
She then continued. 

I don't know much what happened but there was heavy rain for which I was under a tree for shelter. When the rain stopped, I along with my team mates left, only to find an abnormal's corpse beside crying Levi."

She paused.

"Crying Levi?" I asked slowly still trying to come out of my trauma.

"I still remember that face. A very unpleasant one to be honest."

"I asked what happened there. They pointed to the half bitten corpse of Farlan and only remaining head of Isabel. It was horrifying. After asking the comrades present before me, I got to know Levi advanced this direction to find Isabel and Farlan. There he saw Isabel's head. He was shocked. Then he saw Farlan being bitten by the Titan. Then he stayed in that way for few moments."

I can understand how he was feeling. I saw my parents dying, Eren's mother dying, all in front of my eyes. Losing someone close is very- I was wordless.

"Then, suddenly, it appeared Levi got some kind of powers. He killed that Titan mercilessly. He cut its limbs, seperated its head, then cut its nape."

I was having goosebumps at this moment.

"Then Levi and Erwin had an argument which I didn't understand a bit so I left.

Since then, Levi looked upon Erwin as a great figure. He started to respect him. The weird tensions between them finally ended. 

Since then, Levi hates Titans a lot."

I could feel him.

We reached Erwin's office. Hanji knocked the door.

"Ah Hanji! I was waiting for you. Come, give Levi the first aid." Erwin said.

"Ah yes. Come here Clipped Hair" Hanji said in her usual jovial tone.

"Tch. Finish it quick Shitty Four Eyes."

I took my leave and headed to my room. Thoughts of Levi's past was still running in my head.
