The Plan

"Meanwhile remaining, I have very important topic for you, so you all shall stay." Levi said to us.

I was kind of nervous, what would be another important talk which can't be done in front of Armin, Jean, Pieck, Gabi and Falco.

"So let us begin, shall we?" Hanji told.

Levi begun, "I suppose you have read the letter Eren gave to you, right Ackerman?"

I nodded in agreement.

"Good. So I and Hanji are going to follow that plan." Levi replied.

I was shocked. "Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes" he replied with slight angry tone.

"And now, I would like to present the letter to you all, for you all need to follow this plan as well." Hanji said addressing to everyone in room.

The letter read as,

Dear  Friends,

Sorry I left you all like this. Special sorry to Armin and Mikasa. I know I broke their hearts. I attacked Mikasa emotionally and Armin  physically, and believe me, I am really sorry for that. If possible, please forgive me.

Ok, now most important part. I will march into Marley, do something to resurrect Ymir Fritz and march towards Marley. Go anyway to Annie's crystal, break it, bring her back and create an army to fight me and my force. This would mean that I am the bad guy and the world would be against me. Then defeating me would unite the world as a whole, more than that, Eldia will get the respect it deserves.

I know for that Mikasa would be against many of you, and won't allow you, so that's why I entrust this work to Levi Heichou. He taught me to make a choice I'll less regret, so this is my choice. Mikasa you have to oblige. I want freedom, and I can do anything for it. 

However, don't think I'll go easy on you all. I will show Heichou I am not the same Easily Kickable Eren. So stop me with your force. I'll arrive in a day or two.

Tears started forming in my eyes after reading it again. I think Levi noticed that. He went into a dead serious look.

"Alright so everyone got the plan?" Levi asked everyone.

"Yes sir!" everyone except me replied in unison.

"Are you having any second thoughts Ackerman?" Levi asked me.

"Heich-" I was about to say but words suddenly vanished from my mouth. 

"Hanji told ya we need to do this." Levi told to Hanji".

"But Levi?" Hanji replied.

"No. I don't want to risk my soldiers' lives. I've lost enough. Now no more." Levi replied.

"Fine. Do whatever you want Levi" Hanji replied Levi.

"Ackerman!" Levi begun, "You will be out of this mission. We'll keep you as a last resort."

My eyes went wide. I was so shocked. "Why?" I asked.

"Because its an order." Levi replied.

"But why me? Why?" I was getting mad while a word left my mouth.

"You're not alone. Not even Armin knows, and he is excluded as well since you both are so close to Eren. You both may be an issue for our soldiers' lives so we decided to keep you out." Hanji replied.

"Ackerman. You both stay. He was your special friend wasn't he?" Levi told, "For his sake, you need to do this. I can't lose someone like you, I've lost enough." I heard Levi's voice and someone's hand caressing my hair while I slept crying about Eren and his plan. I must've forgot to lock my door.

"I wish I could be with you now. Hug you, comfort you, because you deserve and need that. Sadly, I can't because I'm not someone you love. I know you hated me, though I still have a doubt why you wanted to spend time with me in the terrace. Maybe you admired me as your senior, and wanted to know more about me, because we are of same clan." He smirked, I sensed. "We aren't related though." A grin came on his face, I sensed that as well, "However, many think we are related. Fools." He laughed.

I was shocked. Levi, Levi Ackerman, the same person who either is an expressionless midget, or a moron with stare that would kill you on spot, the same person, laughed.

He looked at his hand (I sensed that as well), and said, "This may be the last time I touch you though. I will never let any of my soldier fall even if it means to die." Then he made a fist. "And I swear. I will kill Zeke for sure this time. I will avenge all my fallen friends and comrades. And at the end, I will kill Eren. I will try my best not to let any other soldier fall, except for Eren."

I remembered the plan again and curled into a ball so that he doesn't notice me crying again.

"You know when I was unconscious, I saw a strange dream-" he paused. "Nothing" he just got up and left.

Dream? What dream? 

And I dosed off to sleep again.

I woke up from my sleep. "Again that same dream?" I asked myself. It was morning, so I decided to wake up and prepare for the upcoming Titan War.
