Leo's POV

The blue clad mutant sat in the dojo beside his three younger brothers. Today his sensei, Master Splinter was giving an unusual lesson. This lesson had nothing to with the art of ninjitsu, instead it dealt with compassion and love. Master Splinter was trying to teach that though they will be feared and hated, they needed to still be gentle and show love to people that they protect. He also kept stressing that this was a lesson that was more important than any other lesson they could ever learn and that they must pay close attention. Too bad the leader in blue was too busy daydreaming. Ironically he was daydreaming about love. He was so busy, he didn't realize his sensei had been calling his name for almost a minute now. When he finally snapped back to reality, he looked around to see all his brothers and sensei giving him worried looks. Master Splinter came forward and placed a hand on his eldest son's shoulder.                                                                                                                                                        "My "My son, is there something troubling you? You seem...distracted."  Leo looked up at his master with a mad blush painted clearly on his face, and shook his head. "I'm fine, I just need some air." Splinter nodded and let his son leave.

Leo then left the lair and headed to the surface. When he was above he began wandering the roof tops, not going in any particular direction. He kept this aimless direction until he came to a familiar rooftop. This was (Y/N)'s rooftop. Sighing, he climbed the fire escape down to her a window. To his surprise she was home early from school. Peering through her window, the ninja saw that she sat on floor, just doing nothing. Leo was hesitant to knock, but he couldn't take it anymore. He was tired of not being able to concentrate. He was fed up with always getting coy looks from his brothers, and mostly he was sick of not being able to her the truth about his feelings. So pulling on his big boy shell, he knocked on her window.

Normal POV.

(Y/N) sat up from her position on the floor, already smiling because she knew who is was already. She quickly walked over to her window and opened it, letting in her friend. At first she said nothing, she was just happy to see him after awhile. Then (Y/N) smile quickly faded, when she noticed something was troubling him. She walked over to her bed and sat down, patting the space next to her beckoning for the turtle to sit as well. Reading the message loud and clear he sat. As soon as he was seated, (Y/N) looked him dead in the eye and said, "Spill it."

This caused Leo to blush even more, so he tried to play it cool and act dumb. Sadly for him (Y/N) wasn't that stupid, so she gave him a stare that no one could lie to.

"*sigh* Okay, I'm going to regret this completely but I need to get some things off my shell, but I don't know how to say it," said Leo, as he looked away refusing to meet the other teen's eyes.

(Y/N) took Leo's chin and pulled it so he would have to look at her. She softened her gaze and, "It's okay, you can tell me anything Leo."

Sighing for what seemed like the hundredth time that day, the ninja spoke slowly. "(Y/N), I know we've only known each for a short while, but I can't help but say you are the most beautiful, wonderful, hilarious, kindest person I've ever met. I mean the list could on and on forever. But, but I don't want to be friends anymore."

Tears were now forming in (Y/n)'s eyes, she couldn't believe what she just heard. So many thoughts were through her head she had missed what the blue clad teen had said after that. Shaking her head quickly, she asked to him to repeat that last part at least twice.

Leo sucked in and said it once more. "I don't want to be friends anymore, so will you be my girlfriend?"
