Realizing Your/His Feelings: Donnie

Normal POV

       You were in your room, reading or at least trying to read. You couldn't concentrate and had been reading thr same sentence  for the past hour. Every time your eyes moved across the ink printed paper, your thoughts ran else where. At first they were just random like food or school. Then you started to think of your friends, then one in particular.  Sighing, you gave up and set your book aside because you knew where your train of thought was heading: Donnieville (All aboard *toot toot*). Getting up from your bed you walked over to your bedroom window. Looking into the night's sky, you decided you needed some fresh air. After wrestling with the hinge you got the window free and made your way to the fire escape, then to the roof of your building.

       Walking around for a bit, you just watched the city; getting lost in your thoughte about the reptilian teen. How he was such a gentlemen and how he was so smart and kind. You loved that he was muscular  but not too bulky. How tall he was. Last but not least how adorable he was, though he was a turtle end he was still cuter than most boys you knew. While thinking like this, somehow a mad blush crept onto your face accompanied with an irremovable smile that you didn't notice.

      Still lost in thought, you happily came to a logical conclusion, you like him. Like really liked him and it didn't bother you, but there was one thing that did. What if he didn't feel the same way? That broke your hope a little but you quickly dimissed those thoughts. You made your way to the ledge of the roof and took a seat. You regained your smile when a light breeze tickled your face, sending some of your hair backwards. Now you were at peace for the rest of the night, while fantasizing about a possible future.

Donnie's POV

     His heart swelled so much he thought it would explode. He had been on his way to come show you his latest research on retro-mutagen; when he saw you on the rooftop. He didn't question why and was about to continue when something told him to stop and just observe for a moment. For the most part he saw you walking around, obviously just thinking. But then you turned and faced in his direction. And when you did, he choked on nothing, his heart rate accelerated, his eyes were the size of the moon. You were so beautiful at that moment,that it nearly killed him. The city's lights illuminated your (S/C) perfectly. The warm summer breeze blew your hair away from your face in a heavenly manner. And the moons glowing brightly in your eyes. And then the smile on your face was just so heart-warming and soft, Donnie didn't  know what to do with himself. The best thing about seeing  you this way, was that your appearance right now reflected how amazing he thought your personality was. To him you were you beautiful inside and out.

     Donnie watchd you walk over to the ledge and stare up at the stars, and thought slammed into like a bus..'She's the one I need, not April'. Before he realized it, he clamped a three fingered hand over his mouth to keep the non-existent words from coming out. But he knew now the truth had become real: He may have fallen for April, but he was crashing and burning for you.
