You walked into your room and headed straight for your window. Sliding it open with ease, you step out onto the old fire escape. Making your way quickly up the steps, you make your way to the roof of your apartment building.
When you get up there, you let out ragged shout of rage. You'd been holding it in all day and now you couldn't hold it back any longer. Along with this shout, you began throwing a tantrum. You didn't want to but it was the only thing you could think of. You picked up several large rocks and flung them in every direction. You didn't care about what crashes came after. Walking around you kicked in multiple air vents. All while doing so you couldn't quit shouting.
Finally after a few more minutes of your destructive rant, you sat criss crossed on the ledge of the roof. You sat there and just looked out at the city and began to just cry that's how angry they made you. You cried while a light breeze blew into your face causing your eyes to sting and your cheeks to become a little cold.
You didn't try to wipe your tears no one was around anyway. You'd never let anyone see you cry except for the few occasions when you couldn't help it and your sister saw.
Conituing to watch the city, you didn't notice the sun was starting to set which made everything look so much better. You only noticed when you heard a soft thud. It was then you tensed up but refused to move, you wanted whoever or whatever it was not to notice that you recognized its pressence.
You continued to look ahead but focused mainly on the soft almost silent footsteps coming from behind. You listened while the sound came closer and closer. Then when the sound were just close enough you whipped around drop kicked the person or thing in the what you assumed to be its chest.
You couldn't see what or who it was from your blurry eyesight. Guess you hadn't noticed you were still crying either. You could however make out that you caused whatever it was to stagger backwards. Taking the opportunity you got into a fighting stance. You were about to lunge at it, when it shouted "Wait!" in a booming voice....wait a second you knew that voice.
"Raphie?" You said in coarse voice that was foreign to you. You rubbed some of the tears out of your eyes, enough to see sure it enough it was your new friend you met a few weeks ago. He was busy brushing off his plastron, not looking at you when he spoke.
"I thought I told you my name is not Rap-." He stopped mid-sentence and stared at you with huge eyes. Obviously taking in your tear streaked face and shirt.
He closed his mouth into a thin line with a blank expression painted on his face. He walked over to you and put a huge green arm around your shoulders. A little uncomfortable, you tensed. He looked down at you and smirked for a second before quickly sweeping his other arm under your legs and jumping onto another roof in one swift motion.
By this time you were clinging onto him for dear life while pounding on his plastron to put you down. He continued to jump across rooftops until he landed in an alley with a dead end.
He gently set you down. When you got on your own feet again you screeched, "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?!?" He smirked and said, "I'm helping a friend out." He said in such a sarcastic tone that made you want to slap the green off his face but didn't have the heart to 'He didn't do anything wrong, except for the kidnapping part.' You thought. That's when you looked back at Raph to see his gaze soften at you, thats when you realized again you were still crying. You quickly started wiping your face but he stopped you by grabbing your wrist. You expected to be asked what happened but he didn't. Instead he pulled over to the brick wall and stood you directly in front of it. Making you facr the brick with your back turned to him he simply stated, "Punch it."
You started to turn your head to ask why but he stopped you. "Punch it, kick it, or do whatever you want until the feeling is gone. Trust me it helps." Simply nodding your head you started to slowly pound on the wall. They were soft and slow at first but then got faster and harder. You began to shout again but this time iy felt good. You then started punching the poor wall in the same way. You forgot about everything else and just focused on the wall until you were no longer angry. When you finished, you turned your back to it and slid down. Breathing deeply you look up to see your red clad friend smirking down at you with his arms folded across his chest. You smiled back at him before standing up and wrapping him in an unwilling hug. After about two seconds he pushed you off trying to remain cool. He turned around and started climbing up the fire escape. When he was halfway up he looked down to see you hadn't moved.
" You comin' or what?" he said gruffly. Deciding you wanted to play with him a bit you put on your best pouty face and crossed your arms. You shook your head and he raised an eye ridge at you. "Why not?" He asked and you could hear that his voice was beginning to get laced with annoyance.
You said your best baby voice, "I don't wanna. I'm to tiwed. Cawwy me Raphie!" He gave you an amused look while you gave him your best puppy dog eyes. You two stayed like this for what seemed like forever when he finally huffed and gave in. You did a little victory dance as he jumped down and hoisted you onto his shell. "Hold on." Was all he said as he bounded to the roof. At this you clutched onto him for dear life and you could tell he was smirking but didn't say a word until you all for back to your roof.
When he set you down your heart was racing so fast you thought it would run right out of your chest. There was a moment of silence then you thanked him again before heading down to your room. And just like before you left him standing there without a clue of what to do.
