When You Meet: Mikey

         You raced into the alley way slightly fearing it would be a small defenseless animal that got hurt. You had always been a big softie for animals, people not so much because they never understood your carefree spirit or happy-go-lucky attitude towards life. But animals didn't care if anything they loved you and you loved them. Any and all animals had a special placed in your heart. And now your heart thumped with worry as you searched for the little thing that might be in trouble.

     Walking further down, you noticed a thing hanging by its leg upside down in the shadows. Getting closer, obviously not realizing this could be dangerous, you that the thing was shaped like a human...kind of. Keeping a safe distance you picked up a stick off the ground and poked it in what you thought was its head.

       This human shaped thing let out a groan, confirming that it was in pain or at least uncomfortable. Feeling sorry for it, you up close to it ready to help it out of this situation when you saw it was a giant turtle that was unconscious.

      Gasping at first, you looked at it. It had on a bright orange mask with the cutest freckles on its cheeks. Looking further down you saw he had the most awesome pairs of nun chucks you had ever seen. Inspecting it like a detective on TV, you took your stick and poked it in its arm.  To your surprise it jumped causing you to scream a little.

     Your scream was enough to bring it back to consciousness. He looked around a bit scared trying to get free when he noticed you. It stared at you with these amazing blue eyes and you stared back with your (e/c) ones. There was a moment of silence then it started swinging back and forth making you giggled. It smiled and then said "Hi, I'm Mikey. Wanna be best buds?" You giggled once more at his cute adorableness and replayed with a slight nod.

    He exclaimed excitedly, "Yes! This means we can play video games and eat pizza and skateboard and and lots of other cool stuff." He fist bumped the air while still hanging upside down. Then he looked at you again with this excited glow in his eye and asked, "So dudette, what's yo name?"

      You laughed and replied, " (Y/n)."

He grinned, then said, "Cute name...like you." You blushed a deep red the quickly changed the subject. "So why are you hanging up side down like this?" He let out an awkward chuckle and rubbed his neck. "Its a long story..." Just then your phone buzzed with a text from your sister telling you to get home now! You said goodbye to your new turtle pal, promising you'd meet again and skipped off towards your apartment.
