Realizing Your/His Feelings: Leo

Leo's POV
   The blue clad turtle sat in the living area of the lair, trying desperately to focus on the television but couldn't.  He had been like this for weeks, just distracted from everything. He couldn't focus on missions, training, meditation,  now watching TV! He sighed deeply and clicked the television off; he stood and walked to his room shutting the door behind him. He sat down on the edge of the bed and closed his eyes.

'There has to be a reason for this. Maybe I'm sick....No that can't be it I feel great. Actually the only time I feel weird is when I'm around (Y/N)'
    
       Leo sat there a bit longer trying to concentrate on why he had been like this but every time, his thoughts drifted back to you and the weird feeling he got when he was near you. He thought about how your smile sent his stomach doing backflips. He smiled at how your laugh was enough to warm his body when he was feeling the coldest. And let's not get him started about how adorable you are when you try to meditate but end up messing with Leo until he quits. Overall your personality was the one thing he loved the most; you're a very level headed and kind person who always put others before you.

      As he continued to sit there and think about you, a light blush spread across his cheeks. He kept trying shake the feeling he was getting while you were in his mind but failed horribly. Giving up, he slumped onto the floor face first. He knew what was happening to him, he saw his was younger brother Donnie go through it when he met April. Even though Leo didn't quite understand, he knew he was growing feelings for (Y/N), and he okay with it.

Normal POV

     You stood in front of your closet, looking over every piece of clothing trying to decide what to wear to school. You stood and bit your lip, thinking about what would look the best. Today was an important day because you were chosen to represent (club/sport/etc.) during a presentation to convince the school bpard to continue funding it.

       Thinking, you pulled out a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, a black shirt with the sleeves coming down to your forearm, and a dark blue and white checkered cardigan. You slipped everything on and looked at yourself in the mirror, the outfir itself was a nice professional one but something was missing. Staring long and hard at your reflection, you tried to think about it. Then you got it, snapping yout fingers you whipped around and faced your dresser. You pulled open your top drawer and started rumaging through it searching for the scarf to perfectly match what you were wearing. When you thought you had found it, you pulled it up to reveal that it was actually Leo's mask. You started to blush madly beofre shoxving it back into its place completely  forgetting about the scarf.

     You walked over and slumped on your bed. You hadn't returned it to him because you didn't want to. You didn't have a real reason to. You sat and stared at the floor for what seemed like forever just thinking  about the mask. The blush didn't leave your face in fact it only brightened. You knew you liked Leo but only as a friend. He was a good guy, funny and caring. He knew how to make you smile when you were feeling down. He was an amazing and talented person who gave you all his attention when it was just the two of you. Overall he was a friendly type of turtle.

     You also knew you two could never be anything more than friends, could you? The thought never really crossed your mind before but now it was wouldn't  leave your head. 'What if he has feelings for you? No don't be stupid, but what if he did'

      You pulled yourself together and stood up, slipping on your shoes. You grabbed your backpack on and headed for the door. But before leaving you stoped by your dresser and pulled the mask out and shoved it into your bag. Your heart swelled a bit because it stilled smelled like him, you smiled and left your room headed to school. All the way there you were thinking about your blue clad friend and what could be.
