As I was drinking my drink. I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned and saw Stacey standing there with a huge grin plastered on her face.
"What happened Stay?", I asked her.
"Ave I can't tell you how happy I am." She said in a excited tone and continued, "You remember that guy whom I told you about at the engagement party." I nodded for her to continue.
"I met him today and the best part is that he also likesme, Ave." She said still with the same excitement.
"I am very happy for you Stacey, tell me where is that guy?", I smiled and asked her and she waved back at someone.
As the guy came I saw his face and was surprised. "Ave, meet Alex Kingsley" She chirped while gesturing towards Alex who has the same surprised expression as me. "Alex meet my friend ,Aveliene" She said while gesturing towards me.
Both me and Alex looked at eachother astonished. But I composed myself and smirked.
"So she is the girl you were talking about" I asked in a teasing tone. To which Alex smiled sheepishly and nodded.
"Have you both met before?" Stacey asked with confusion. I smiled and spoke,"Stacey I met him at the engagement party, he is Vaughn's best friend." I said to which Alex nodded in agreement.
"So Alex, you really like Stacey?" I asked sternly to which he nodded sincerely. "Then okay, but if you ever made her upset then you have to face my wraith", I said in a threatening tone and Alex gulped nervously while nodding.
"Ave you are scaring him", Stacey said while laughing.
"You know Stay after your breakup, I don't want you to be sad again", I said in a concerned tone.
"Thanks Ave and you are the best", She said while hugging me.
"Stacey you have made a good choice. Alex is really a nice guy unlike Jason. He will keep you happy", I whispered in her ear. We both pulled back and she smiled.
Alex cleared his throat,"You both know that I am standing here and can easily listen you."
Both Stacey and me laughed at it ,then I took my leave and went to my parents.

Finally, it was time to leave. I hugged my mom who was crying. Her warm embrace made me forgot all the people around us, as if there was only me and her. She was always been very supporting and caring mother when it come to me. From telling me stories to guiding me. She always wanted the best for me and I really love her.
We pulled apart, she smiled and wiped my tears which have somehow escaped.
"Don't cry Aveliene honey" She said while giving me her comforting smile. I nodded and smiled .
