Chapter 27

Aveliene's pov:

After Veronica left, I went back to Vaughn's office as he was still busy in the meeting.

I stood infront of the glass, facing the magnificent view of the city. It was evening now. The sky was a blend of blue and orange,I could see the stars appearing ,it was a relaxing twilight view. And contrast to it was the busy city.

As the lights of the city illuminated it. The buildings and skyscrapers were dotted along the busy streets. I could see the cars speeding down the roads. Clearly showing the hustle and bustle of the city.

I heard the door opened but I was still mesmerized by this view.
I felt someone's presence behind me. But I didn't turned. My body stiffened as he carress my shoulders gently, I flinched.

"I see you are enjoying the view after nearly embarrassing me infront of my clients.", I turned and was now face to face with Vaughn. Who was not looking happy. Oops.

"It wasn't my intention, Veronica said that -"

"Come on Miss Lawrence, stop blaming others for your fault, and thanks to Veronica that she gave the folder to me on time." He said and I felt bad as he is not even believing me but her.

"Now as I said that your every action will have a consequence so as you made a mistake, it's time for your punishment ,Miss Lawrence. " He said while giving me his signature smirk.

I didn't spoke anything as we went to his car. As it was time to go home.
The entire ride went in silence. I don't know what he is thinking but clearly it is something bad for me.

I went inside the mansion. As Vaughn followed me. Ella was back so she served our dinner, we ate in awkward silence, although I hardly touch my food as my mind was busy thinking what he has planned.

After the dinner as I was about to enter my room he stopped me by speaking-
"Come into my room, Now", he said in harsh tone. I gulped and nodded. I slowly made my way towards his room.

He threw his tie on the couch. While I stood behind him.

He then turned towards me with menace glint and I gulped.
He then slowly came towards me. Like a preadator coming towards its prey. While I stood still.

He was now too close to me. I shivered with fear and he his eyes roamed the length of my body. I stiffened nad took a step back.

"No," He said in a low voice. I froze, "That's the second time you shield back from me tonight. " He said and advanced on me.

"The fear in your eyes tells me that you have never been punished before. It makes it more interesting." He said and smirked menacingly. I gulped. He then gently slide his finger on my cheek. I flinched due to fear.

"Stop flinching from my touch." He said in a threatening tone. I froze as his lips twitched. He then again carresses my cheek with his fingers and due to his fear I flinched again. His eye narrows amd I though he is gonna do something bad to me but instead he took steps back, now there was good distance between us. I sighed relief left my lips.

"Bend on your knees and crawl to me."

I snapped my head in Vaughn's direction, his eyes held an unknown emotion.

"What?!"

"You heard me once, now do it." He said loudly and sternly, and I flinched and swallowed my pride, slowly crawled on me knees, feeling humiliated.

As I reach next to him, I looked up and a smirk of satisfaction for being dominant crept on his face.

I don't know how many people he had forced to kneeled like this?
