Aveliene's pov:

Right now I am watching the magnificent view of sea although I could feel Vaughn's intense gaze on me.
"Now that we are on our 'date', tell me something about you,Miss Lawrence. " He said while emphasizing the word date teasingly.

"Like what?", I asked in a low voice.

"Anything such as your likes ", he said while taking a sip of water.

"I like to watch the sky. I don't know why but it makes me feel alive. Whenever I feel sad or depress I look up to the stars and the moon that are illuminating the dark night. And it reignited hope and happiness in me." I said honestly while looking towards the sky. I turned towards Vaughn and found him staring at me with adoration?

"Beautiful thinking. I think we both shared something special to eachother." He said while looking straight in my eyes.

His dark oceanic orbs were more deeper than the vast sea infront of me.

We then talked about our high school times

We then talked about our high school times. He shared some memeories of his hilarious pranks that he and Alex together played. To which I laugh.

I also told him about mine and Cassie's silly moments. That how I left my house at night through the window without telling my dad and spend the night at Cassie's house.

I really felt different to tell these things to him, openly. Maybe friendship can be the first step.

"I can't believe you throw a bucket full of ice on your teacher that also in winter just because he made you stand up for disturbing the class." I said while laughing.

"Hey my feet ached because of it", he quickly defended and pouted.

I continued to smile at his cuteness.

"Here is you order", suddenly a voice said while interrupting our sweet conversation. Wait Sweet ?

It was the same waitress from before, she served our dinner. While glancing at Vaughn seductively. Like seriously?

But Vaughn didn't gave her any reaction, as he continued to look at me. And I felt my cheeks heat up. Damn hormones.

The waitress then left us. To which I was thankful.

I looked at the food it was looking good. Its sweet and spicy aroma makes it mouthwatering.

Vaughn introduced me with the dishes names. I then was about to take the salad when he interrupted.

"Wait I want you to have this first. Its the specialty of this place". He said while passing me the Fijian Curry.

I took some of it in my plate. And as I placed a spoonful of it in my mouth, immediately my eyes widen I felt like my taste buds were on fire.
