Aveliene's pov:

I think that my life has become a tragic-comedy. As look one time, every thing goes well but the other, I am back with tears. How ironic.
After Vaughn threw me out from his house. I came outside, the rain is flowing heavily. Just like my tears. As if they were also morning my grief.
I moved outside the mansion's doors. The guards gave me sympathetic looks but it doesn't matter, because the only person who I wanted to trust in me, left me in this weather.

Suddenly! lightning occurred breaking me from my trail of thoughts.
My clothes are wet. And my tears are camouflaged with the rain.

My mind has become a mess. I don't know what to do? Where to go?

A thought struck my mind. I quickly pulled out my phone from my purse which was thankfully, not yet wet.
Maybe I am not that unlucky.

I dialed Cassie's number. I hope she picks up. After third ring she answered.

"Hey Ave", Cassie's voice echoes in my ear, and I felt like bursting into tears.

My vision is blurry due to the tears and rain. And my head hurts, but the pain in my heart is much worse.

"Cassie" I rasp, the other side becomes silent the moment she hears me crying.

"What happened Ave?" Her voice is filled with concern and urgency.

I took a deep breath, and closed my eyes to calm myself. My hand is shaking as I hold my phone, maybe it will fell any moment.

"I-I...." I tried to began but words were not forming as if they are stuck in my throat.

"Cassie. "I breathe "Vaughn." I don't know how to explain my situation to her. Afterall she doesn't know anything. And it is not the time to tell everything on phone."Photos. " I sobbed"Veronica". I don't know whether she is able to under me or not.

I don't know what to say? My hands are shaking. I am feeling so scared, so vulnerable as if anytime I can pass out.

"Ave calm down, you are scaring me, just tell me where are you?" She sounds more alert, as panic fills her tone.

"I am at Vaughn's mansion", my voice comes out weak. As I sobbed.

"Its okay calm down, no one will hurt you, I am coming", she said as the line ended. While I clutched the phone near my heart which is beating very hard. Gosh why my life is so painful. I can't suffer anymore.

I stood there as the rain continued to falls. The sound of thunder echoes and I flinched. But sadly this time I don't have anyone to hold me.

Suddenly! A car stood infront of me. The headlights flashes. As the door opened and Cassie stepped outside. She looked at me and her face changes into a concerned one. She rushes to me and I hugged dhim not caring about my weak clothes. Right now I just need somone to hold me. Tell me that everything will be alright.

I have never felt this much depended on somone. Gosh! What have you done to me Vaughn?

"Calm down Ave, I am here, everything will be fine don't cry." She said while gently rubbing my back.

She then pulled apart.
"J- just ta-take me somewhere far from here", I said in a weak tone. To which she thankfully didn't argued and nodded.

We then sat inside her car as she began driving.
"Here take this", she said and passed me a jacked from the back seat. I quickly clutched it as the coldness was freezing me. We drove in silence which I was thankful for.

After some time we reached her house. She opened the door for me. As I came out trembling.

"My parents are gone for some business trip so I am alone, don't worry", she spoke assuringly. We entered her house.
