Immediately upon arrival, Harley was greeted by Sadie, who was covered in dust and dirt yet still looked flawless in a pair of fitted overalls and a pink Ralph Lauren button-up shirt. "Thank god, you're finally here." Harley didn't get a chance to respond as the strawberry blonde began dragging her away.
"Wanna come?" Harley questioned Rory, who almost visibly shuddered at the thought of spending the day with Sadie and the band. "I'm gonna find whoever's in charge." She spoke after shaking her head. "Hey, you're okay by yourself right?" Harley questioned, now almost yelling as she continued to be pulled away.
Rory nodded and gave a thumbs-up before Harley turned around to face front. The blonde was met by the entirety of the Chilton elite circle. Harley first caught the attention of Lizzie, the ginger looking her up and down. "Wow, how Brittany Murphy of you." Lizzie maybe complimented as she took in the girl's outfit.
Harley looked down at her light-washed painted overalls before letting out a small chuckle. "How very Brittany Spears of you." Harley quipped as gazed over at the Tommy Hilfiger overall shorts the girl wore. "Goldie, finally someone exciting!" Austin cheered out as he threw a hand around the girl's shoulder.
Harley was strangely thankful for the obnoxious boy at this moment as he caused Lizzie to look away from the blonde. "What's wrong Austin? Too much hard labor making you feel poor?" Harley questioned the boy as he led her closer to where Piper was micromanaging everyone.
"Ouch. I don't think I like your girlfriend anymore." Austin directed towards Sadie as he removed himself from Harley, his bare skin leaving a small coat of sweat against Harley's arm. She wiped it with her palm, cringing.
"She's just better than you in every way, Aus." Sadie shrugged as she grabbed a hammer and helmet from the makeshift table behind them. "Most people are, don't let her hurt your ego too much," Nikolas spoke up as he slipped through two pillars of wood.
"Oh, my dear brother. Always unpleasant." Austin grinned before throwing himself down into a plastic chair where he would probably lounge for the rest of the event. Now that Austin was finally silenced by the distance he had put between them, Harley turned to focus on the younger Montgomery brother.
She had to remind herself not to gawk as she took in his appearance. He was dressed just like every other guy was, a white tank top and a plain pair of blue jeans, yet he wore it so much better in her opinion. "Hey, Harley." The boy greeted, a mischievous grin on his face.
"Hi, Nik." The girl greeted back. "The overalls suit you. Very farmer chic." Nik snorted as he laced a finger around one of the denim straps, tugging at it. "You're so clever." Harley faked a laugh before unclipping the strap that Nik was tugging on, releasing her from his grasp.
