"How was Milan?" Sadie questioned as she passed Harley a plate of chocolate croissants. "Breathtaking, gorgeous, everything you've ever wanted and more?" Lewis Blythe chuckled at his stepdaughter's eagerness. "It was hot."

"Buzzkill." The dirty blonde frowned at her father's pessimism. "Goldie, is Milan in the Lorelai Euro-trip itinerary?" Connor questioned his girlfriend as he glanced over at her.

"Oh, definitely. What's the point of a Euro trip if you don't go everywhere that's anywhere." Harley grinned over at the boy. "Besides the art scene in Milan is top-notch."

"Goldie?" Lewis questioned his son. "Goldie as in Goldielocks." Sadie explained. "Is there a story behind that or-." The man droned off.

"It's because she has that pretty little blonde look that draws you in and then she steals everything from you," Connor smirked. "Your clothes, your food, your manhood, your heart." Sadie listed in a teasing tone

"Yuck," Henry mumbled as he looked over at his older brother. "Oh, come on stud. You know-" Connor was cut off by his father. "Don't." The man warned before the boy could say something inappropriate, causing Sadie to snicker under her breath.

"Shut up, Sarah." Connor hissed at the girl before kicking her under the table. "Daddy, tell Connor to stop being rude." The girl spoke in a false tone as she frowned, causing Harley to smile in amusement.

"Funny, I thought you only called your tennis coach-" He was cut off before he could finish his retort. "Connor, please be civil." Lewis scolded in a stern tone as he looked up at the boy. Harley watched as Connor's jaw clenched tightly before he picked up her wine glass and drowned the rest of its remains.

"Oh, Harley dear. How's your mother?" Valerie questioned. "She's good. She's at my grandparent's house for dinner right now, so probably a little less good at this very moment in time," Harley explained as a small chuckle left her lips at the thought.

Lewis looked over at his wife with a grin, thinking back on all the time the two spent with Harley's parents.

"Do you remember that time Scott broke his leg jumping out of Christopher's window?" Lewis let out a hearty laugh as he thought back to Sarah's father. "Uncle Scott jumped out of a window?" Henry exclaimed as he looked up at his parents.

"He had broken a half-million-dollar vase and hid out at Christopher's house for three days before his father finally came to collect him. He was so scared he flung himself right out the window without even looking to see that the pool had been covered."

"You were close to my dad?" Harley questioned the man. "Christopher and I were practically brothers, we still keep in touch from time to time." The man explained.
