Chapter 11- In which you travel to Asgard

A/N- I know I said I would update on Fridays, but I was out of town so I have to post this chapter on a Monday! I have written up to chapter 14 and things have started to pick up between her and Loki :)

The excruciating week of laying low had finally passed and you made it your first mission to train with Nat. You grabbed a quick breakfast and headed down bright and early. Nat had already set everything up and you were able to start right away.

When you first started training, weeks ago, Nat could kick your ass easily, but now you could almost beat her.

"You're a fast learner", she said after you'd almost managed to pin her.

You smirked.

"Only because I have such an amazing teacher"

She brushed the hair out of her face and walked over to get a drink of water.

"No seriously, you're almost learning too fast, are you sure you're human?"

You laughed at her and joined her for water.

"Of course, what else would I be"

The two of you trained for a couple more hours before calling it a day and heading back upstairs. You stopped by your room for a quick shower before going out to the living area to find some lunch.

You made a beeline for the fridge and didn't notice Thor and Loki deep in conversation. You made a quick sandwich before spotting them on the couch.

That was weird. It seemed like what they were talking about was serious. They were talking in hushed voices and Loki's brow was furrowed.

Grabbing your plate, you walked over to them. When they noticed you, they got very quiet.

"Hi, what's going on"

"Nothing", Loki said, a little too fast.

Thor shot him a look.

"It's not nothing, brother, she should know"

Loki was glaring at him and his jaw was clenched tightly. They stared at each other, having a silent argument until you broke the silence.

"Hello, I'm standing right here, tell me what's going on"

Thor nudged his head, urging Loki to tell you. He sighed and turned to look at you.

"I found out this morning that Thor has been writing letters to our mother"

He paused, and you wondered why that was such a big deal and why it concerned you.

"He told her about you and now she has requested to meet you"

Your jaw dropped, the Queen wanted to meet you? It took you a second to process this.

"...on Asgard?"

Loki rolled his eyes.

"Of course"

You sat down on the couch, not sure of what to say.

"It is up to you, but she would like to meet you sooner rather than later", Thor said.

Loki scooted an inch closer to you.

"You don't have to do this if you don't want to", he said. 

You met his gaze, he looked worried. He was nervous about the thought of going home, he hadn't been back since he'd been locked up.

"I want to go"

A huge smile lit up Thor's face.

"Great! We will leave tomorrow"
