As dream stretched out on the small couch he noticed a small pain in his back--most likely from being so cramped behind george who was fast asleep, but almost halfway off the couch. His mouth was agape, letting out soft breaths rather than snores, and his skin glew from the sun shining through the blinds. The birds outside were chirping, singing their songs and the morning seemed perfect.

Except for the text that dinged, alerting Dream and bringing him to check his phone. He picked it up off of the floor by some of his and georges things. His brows were drawn together as he read the message.

It was from an unknown number, but Dream already knew who it was from. The text read, "meet @ 10 at mel and jermeys. "

He pinched up his lips and his eyes scanned up to the time. It was only 9:30AM, but if he wanted to be there by 10, he'd leave now. Dream was careful not to wake the other as he climbed off the couch, he planned on coming right back after so there was no need for George to know. He would have preferred to stay in bed until noon with him, but he wasn't allowed to deny this meet up--not if he didnt want to deal with the consequences.

He stretched his arms long above his head, a yawn slipping from his mouth before he grabbed his old jacket.

It was a patchy denim jacket that he had gotten from a friend a long time ago, he always wore it, the style was somewhat trending now, too, so it worked well for him. It had pins from different bands or artists attached to it, such as Lovejoy, Glass animals, ect. If you asked anyone he knew Dream, they'd tell you he wore it nine out of ten times.

Slipping the jacket on he ruffled his messy golden brown hair out of his face.

"Leaving?"

Dream spun around on his heel and his eyes met with Georges. George seemed to be struggling to not go back to bed, his eyes half lidded and head drooping.

Dream half faked a warm smile as he tried to buy time to make up a quick lie, he didn't need any questions that would potentially put George in danger. "Not for long, I was just gonna run to the store. You want anything?" He asked.

George seemed to be pleased by this answer as a small smile tugged on his face. He hummed in thought. "Coffee?"

"I have no clue how you drink that stuff, but sure, anything else?"

George put his hand on his chest, making a sour and offended look to him. "Seriously? Not cool, coffee will always be better than..whatever you drink." He had completely and unintentionally dismissed his offer

Before responding he picked up his keys, phone and wallet off the floor, shoving all but the car keys into his jacket. "Both you and I know monster is and has been better than coffee, you just aren't ready for that conversation." He seemed secure in his opinion, like he wouldn't let George tell him otherwise.

"Yeah yeah, keep telling yourself that. I bet Sapnap would agree with me."

Dream had only realized he'd gotten side tracked talking to George, and that he had somewhere to be. "Sure he would, I'll be back, and I'll make sure to grab your coffee." He fake gagged, earning a giggle from George before he left to go to his car.

He shook his head with a tiny grin, letting his arm fall and his head lay back in the cushiony pillow. Thoughts of Dream clouded his mind as he was left alone to rest.

His eyes felt heavy and his body was begging for just one more hour of sleep. So he let in without reason not to, he quickly drifted off into a comfortable sleep filled with dreams of his lover.

Fingers anxiously tapped against the steering wheel, his leg juddering up and down as he awaited her arrival.
