George became bitter, frustrated even that Dream could just leave him without a word of what had happened. At the same time he was still so starstruck of what had happened. It was all so quick, he hadn't exactly had time to process it. He didn't believe Dream was drunk and that's what caused the moment, because there wasn't even a slight taste of alcohol on his lips.

The door flung open and came stumbling in was Sapnap with a drink in hand, abrupting Georges train of thought "George! There you are." His voice dripped in a tone of excitement.

Sapnap was underage but the fact never seemed to stop him. He'd always find someone to buy alcohol for his parties whether is be strangers, or friends it didn't matter.

"Hey Sap." He put his hands on his knees as he stood up, proceeding to walk over to his friend and put an arm around his shoulder. Sapnap lead them out of the room without further explanation to where they were going. George didn't mind, after all he needed another distraction.

Distractions seemed to be all that he needed now, one after another. Just another thing to distract him from reality.

They stopped in a small crowd of people, in the middle a man doing a keg stand and another holding his legs up, once not able to drink anymore they let him down and he threw his arms up in victory. A few people cheered for him, and George assumed he had beaten the last persons time.

Sapnap and George exchanged looks.

"You have to." Sapnap encouraged with slurred words before nudging George.

"No no, I dont think thats a good idea."

"It'll be fun! If you beat him then like, that'd be pretty cool."

Everything gave George a sense of deja vu from old high-school and college parties. Keg stands, dancing, everything.

He thought about it for a minute, and while he wasn't a big drinker, he could hold his alcohol pretty well. After all, it was just beer. He sighed and walked forward with a smile that held many different emotions.

Keg stands were pretty stupid. Theory was that since you're upside down, blood rushes to your head and something let's you get wasted faster. George didn't totally understand, but it never stopped him anyways. He used to be big on things like these when he was around the ages of 16 and 18, but soon dropped it after becoming more invested in friends and careers.

"You ready buddy?" The guy, who held the last said.

'Buddy' George cringed.

"Yeah." Clearing all sorts other thoughts, George let the man hold him upside down with confidence. Another held the tap for him.

The only trick he knew to dominating keg stands, was no hesitation. To get the best time you can, you needed to swallow all the liquid as quickly as you could.

So he did exactly that. He moved quickly, his grip on the keg handles tightening with every large gulp. His knuckles turned white. The last persons time was 13 seconds, or rounding to it. All he had to do was get a second or a few over to not be deemed a 'lightweight.' It'd be embarrassing to go into the challenge with such confidence and fail miserably.

Sapnap stood in front of what small crowd circled by, hyping up his friend and only delivering more confidence and cockiness to George, which to be fair was his intentions. He had his arm up, cheering for him to keep going just as some would do in a football game.

11..12..13..14

15 and a half seconds and George shook his leg as his signal to be let down. While it wasn't the best time, it was respectable and he had beat the last party record. Though feeling a bit sick, he was proud and his face showed that. Sapnap put his arm around Georges shoulder and shook him as he laughed proudly and George laughed awkwardly.
