An Alolan Love Story Book 1 (Starring my OC, Noni)

Chapter 1

I woke up to hear my alarm beeping noisily. I groaned and rolled over in my bed to turn it off. The beeping stopped and I sat up in bed. My messy hair clouded my view and I brushed it aside to gaze around my room. My family and I had just moved into Malie City from Hoenn and boxes littered my floor. My Glaceon rolled over and snuggled into my bedsheets. I got up out of my bed, carefully trying not to disturb her, and stretched. The dawn sunlight shone through the window and I gazed out onto the beautiful landscape. So many adventures were waiting for me when I stepped out the door and I got chills just thinking about it.
     "Noni! Are you up! Don't forget you get your pokemon today!" My mom yelled from the kitchen. I gasped and hurriedly changed into my clothes. I grabbed my backwards cap and tied my shoes and my jacket around my waist. I threw on my t-shirt and pulled on some shorts. My Glaceon yawned and stretched. I put my bag on and ran to the bathroom to comb my hair. After I was finished, I ran to grab something to eat for breakfast. Luckily my mom had prepared me some food and my brother was eating in his high chair. My other sister was reading and eating whilst her Vaporeon laid down beside her chair. I felt waves of jealously coming off of her and I felt a pang. I knew she was upset about the whole me getting a pokemon thing. I scarfed down my breakfast and brushed my teeth. My mom was loading my backpack with various items and she zipped it up and handed it to me.
     "There you are, Pumpkin and I packed some things in there for you. Please be safe and call me everyday. Hau should be here to pick you up in a moment." As she said that a knock came on the door. "Oh that's him! Let me get it." She opened the door and Hau stood there with his eyes shining brightly.
     "Hi I'm Hau! And that must be Noni I'm assuming?" Hau asked and saw my belt with five pokeballs attached. His eyes widened and then he chuckled.
     "Yep that's me. Bye everyone love you guys!" I said my goodbyes to my family and Hau and I walked off to the lab where my alolan adventure would begin.
