AN: Ahaya=Love, T'hai'la=Soulmate (in this case)
After asking around, Kieran finally figured out where your beloved was and began leading you down a familiar path. This particular part of the castle smelled of lavender, so you figured Amanda must have been spending quite a bit of time in these halls as of lately. You soon saw an opened-door room with white walls and natural lighting. Once you had entered, you silently gasped as you saw that the room was no longer full of furniture, but instead stacks of canvases, holding units for art supplies, paints, a chair, and even an easel. Then you saw him, the tall, slender Vulcan prince with short, night-sky hair and elf-like ears, organizing a cabinet made specifically for various art supplies.
"Good afternoon, princess. Do you like what you see?" He greeted, still focused on his task.
"Oh, yes! I can't believe that you've done all this!" You smiled.
"It wasn't just me, my mother has helped quite a bit in gathering the supplies, if you want anything else in here, please ask."
"I think this will be plenty for a while." You laughed, he finally turned around to see you.
"I see you have a different style of make-up, in no offense, I don't think it suits you." He stated, making you chuckle as you stepped forward.
"That's because Mx. Kieran had to make me look different to help me leave." You confessed, Spock gave a short nod before looking towards Kieran.
"You did a great job, but would you mind leaving us for now?"
"No, I don't mind. I'll shut the door on my way out also." Kieran smiled and sat the bag down before leaving. Once alone Spock embraced you and gave you a deep, long kiss. His lips were so soft against yours and you felt your knees go weak as your body warmed. He finally let go and you could see his cheeks and ears go green. "I've been so worried, my ahaya, I heard of what has happened to you and I wanted to be of help." He admitted softly.
"It's alright, to be fair, I was nervous to tell you. But after fath- Darek took away the library and my art room, I had to leave. I knew I couldn't take it anymore." You blushed as you ran your hands up his chest and wrapped your arms around his neck. "I no longer wish for him to be a part of my life, he's done too much damage to me.
"I must agree in this case, let me take care of you instead." He offered, making your face grow even more flushed at his flirtations. You could feel yourself melting into him as your thoughts became more garbled from the compliments. He gave a slight smirk as he recognized that you didn't know what to do when someone like him decides to flirt with you. He slowly moved your arms to where he held one hand but with the other, he began tracing your fingers slowly with his own. The action sent chills down your spine and just by looking into his eyes, you could tell he was enjoying it too.
"Do you know what this is?" He asked.
"No, I'm afraid not." You softly replied.
"It is Vulcan finger-touching, or as humans like to call it, a Vulcan kiss. Do you find this enjoyable?" He explained in a whisper. You listened to the deepness of his voice that crackled like a fire, just the sound of it set your soul on fire.
"Yes." You whispered out, focusing on the warm sensation.
"I am glad, that means we can do this more often as long as you plan to stay here for your escape."
"I am planning on it, and while this may be the first place Darek may look, I believe you and your parents could easily hide me."
"You are correct, we have a few places within the castle to keep you." He then released you and slowly put down your hands. "Now, we should probably begin finding either of my parents to discuss this." You nodded and it was then that the door opened and both the King and Queen entered.
"Princess, it's so good to see you, though I do wish that it was under different circumstances." Amanda greeted.
"The feeling is mutual, your majesty." You smiled.
"We should get onto business. As I am sure you know, your parents most likely noticed your disappearance the morning after your escape and will be here by nightfall. We have a couple of spaces for you to hide in when that time comes, but it is quite cramped. I do recognize that this scenario will feel quite like your punishments but I can assure you we will try to bring comfort to the space to avoid any- emotional outbursts you humans seem to have in these cases. Is this alright, princess?" Sarek explained, trying to be considerate to your situation and emotions.
"Yes, that will work fine." You nodded. "Thank you for your hospitality, I never meant to be such a burden when this arrangement started."
"You're not a burden, (Y/N), this is an important matter and we are voluntarily helping." Amanda reassured, placing a loving hand on your shoulder.
"Thank you- but what will become of Kieran?" You questioned, remembering your friend waiting in the hall.
"We already told them of a spot in the servant's area that they can hide in. But I feel like we should introduce you to the spot so that when the time comes, you can easily find your way with or without a servant's help." Sarek answered. "Princess, if you'll come with me, Spock, stay here. I haven't told anyone but your mother of this space as it is meant for emergencies and I would prefer for you to be clueless in case you are questioned." He ordered. Both you and your lover nodded, and you followed the royal couple. The hiding space was so well hidden that you didn't see it until the king pointed it out. It was in a less popular area of the castle that was near the kitchens. It seemed to be a small door that meshed in with the wall, it was the size of door that seemed to be meant for a hobbit. Sarek opened the door allowing you to peer inside, it seemed to be a deep corridor with a dimly lit floor, you didn't know how they managed to do that, but you did know that the Vulcan's had advanced technology, some of which they didn't share with the humans.
"This corridor leads to multiple parts of the castle, one part leads to the servant's quarters, another outside to the gardens, another to the dungeons, and one other that leads outside that goes to the forests. If you hear footsteps coming your way, leave silently towards another area. You will know it is us if we say 'svai'." He explained.
"Why svai?" You asked, curious about the new word.
"It translates to flower or bloom. From what we understand you enjoy horticulture, and my t'hai'la thought it would fit. We have noticed that humans don't typically learn languages outside of their own races so using one of our words would make it less likely that they would understand or notice. Any other questions?"
"No, not at the moment."
"Don't be afraid to ask if you have any, (Y/N), we will be glad to answer." Amanda piped up.
"Thank you, your majesties." You nodded. Sarek simply nodded.
"After dinner is served, I would like for you to come here and wait, you are allowed to bring one book to help you pass time." He instructed.
"I can do that, your highness."
"Good, let us be on our way." He acknowledged, leading you away and back to Spock.
