"Princess, you need to wake up." A light voice stated softly as she gently shook you awake. You sat up and rubbed the sleep out of your eyes, grumbling with tiredness.

"Who are you?" You mumbled out at the sight of a skinny, young, blonde woman with blue eyes by your bedside.

"Ms. Rand, I'm the Queen's lady-in-waiting, I've been sent to help you get ready." She introduced herself while doing a light curtsy.

"Oh! Well it's a pleasure meeting you." You replied as you got out of bed.

"The feeling is mutual. Now princess, I would like your opinion on what you wish to wear today."

"Something more free-form and not too showy would be nice."

"I have just the thing." The blonde smiled as she went to the large, dark-oak wardrobe with hand crafted etchings in the wood. She pulled out a light green dress with white accents. It had long sleeves that flowed down from the elbows and a gold length of fabric that tied around the waist as a sort of belt. There was no cleavage and it was quite modest. "Would this work, miss?" She asked.

"Oh yes, this will work wonderfully." You nodded in approval as you rubbed the sleep out of your eyes. She nodded and helped you get dressed and brushed out your hair for you, once finished she led you to the dining room where everyone was just sitting down.

"Ah, princess! How did you sleep?" The queen greeted.

"I got a full night's rest thanks to how amazing your rooms are. Thank you so much

for your hospitality." You responded.

"Good, for we have a full day for you. But first, I would like to discuss what happened last night over breakfast." Sarek interjected. "Are you emotionally available to discuss this?"

"Yes, about last night, I am terribly sorry for the sudden news, and to explain things in a more scientific manner, anxiety is not only a mental illness but a survival instinct that has been amplified. People with ADD or ADHD often have anxiety along with a low self esteem. Anxiety seems to be rooted in the amygdala, and it is not a neurological disorder, but a psychological disorder.

ADD or ADHD is thought to be neurological, but research is still being done. It includes poor impulse control, hyperactivity, forgetfulness, and a short attention span. Now while my attention span may be short, it is only short when I'm not interested, when I'm not interested I often dissociate or what some people refer to as 'spacing off'. I hope that makes sense." You explain.

"Does this have any effect on your intelligence?" Sarek questioned.

"No, my ADD can actually help at times, two other symptoms are hyperfixation and hyperfocus. Hyperfixation is where I can fixate on a certain subject, become extremely interested, and learn as much as I can about it. The downside to that is that I can't stop talking about it and I either become borderline obsessed or truly obsessed. Hyperfocus is where I can sit and do something for hours on end without losing focus, the downsides to that is I often forget to take proper care of myself during that time, I become extremely agitated when interrupted, and when I lose focus on it, it is extremely hard to get myself back into that same headspace. Mind you that I am working extremely hard to lessen the side effects, sir."

"I see, now the panic attacks you mentioned last night. How do those work?"

"Panic attacks are rather unpredictable but there are things that can cause them, they come from the anxiety and even just thinking about having one can trigger it. Panic attacks are shorter than anxiety attacks, and while anxiety attacks affect the victim for the whole day, panic attacks don't."
