You woke up earlier than usual and realizing that you forgot to send Spock a letter, began to write one. Naturally, you awkwardly explained the punishment and that you were sorry you didn't tell him beforehand. A couple of weeks passed before you received a letter back. Luckily he forgave you and that he will make sure your art studio is fully prepared for your arrival as he suspects your father might take away your art next, and he was right. When you went to your art studio that day, everything was gone. You quickly ran to your mother in a panic as you tried to figure out what was going on.

"Mother! My art supplies- They're all gone!" You gasped out, trying to catch your breath. "Everything was there a few days ago, how did this happen?"

"It was your father's doing, he said that he's been too lenient on you and you needed to be disciplined before he finds you a new husband. I tried my best to stop him, but all it led to was fighting." Your mother explained, defeat and guilt plagued her voice as sadness loomed in her amber eyes. Tears flooded your (E/C) eyes and you nodded.

"I understand, I'll find other ways to create art. I'm going to the library, is that alright?" You smiled hopefully. She gave a defeated sigh and looked away.

"I'm afraid that's been locked away from you."

"Mother, you're joking."

"I wouldn't joke about this." She shook her head. You stared at her in disbelief, and felt anger grow in your heart. "(Y/N)- sweetie, you will be okay, maybe not today but someday. I know you will." You grit your teeth.

"Mother, I am trying so hard to continue. I used to be able to do this, but now it's like someone whispering in my heart saying that I can't go on like this. I've finally been given a taste of freedom and realize how bad this place is, I need to get away." You growled out, trying to control yourself

"Sweetie-"

"No, mother! You don't understand! I-I hate this! This is scary, terrifying, and cruel! I can't do this anymore!" You yelled. You broke down sobbing, as tears sliced down your cheeks leaving a stinging sensation as you heaved for air. It felt like boulders were being stacked upon your back and your legs gave out under you. Your mother knelt and tried comforting you but you couldn't feel comfort- just cold. You got up and went back to your room where surprisingly, your mother left you alone. "Kieran?" You called out, knowing they were in the vicinity.

"Yes, princess?" They replied, stepping into your room.

"If I ran away, would you help me find a way out?" You asked softly.

"Of course, princess. I can have you out in three days if you wish." They smiled.

"Good, can you get me to the Vulcan kingdom?" You questioned further.

"Naturally, I have my resources to get us a carriage."

"Then I will start packing my things. I'm afraid that I can't wait any longer for the coronation."

"Pack tonight and give me your luggage when the morning comes, and please pack lightly."

"Will do, and thank you, Kieran."

"It is no problem of mine, princess, and I will provide the clothing as long as a bag for you to keep your things, just place them on your desk for now."

"Understood." You nodded. Kieran made their leave and you began to wander the castle as if looking for something to do. Eventually, Kirk found his way to you.

"Princess! What brings you to this area of the castle?" He asked cheerfully.

"Good morning, general. Well, my art studio has been dismantled and I am no longer allowed entry into the library."
