Momiji x Blind Male Reader

The reader is a normal person that knows the secret.

The reader is a year of the Rabbit

The reader is a year older than Momiji

This is Virgo speaking; theoretically speaking it is impossible to be a year older then Momiji and be in the year of the rabbit since Momiji is actually born in the year of the pig. The pig and rabbit are four years apart, but since ActTasLam asked for the reader to be a year older and the year of the rabbit I'll make it work!

It's been about six months since the disaster on Valentines day, Hatori released me the following morning and Momiji kindly walked me home. On the way home we talked about what we should do with our feelings for one another, we agreed to go on a date. Then after the first date we had many more, plus many more firsts.

But today I got reminded that my boyfriend is a cursed Sohma, it happened when I was going to his house for a "study session". I enter the Sohma estate like I usually do, Momiji always waits for me near the gates so I use my white cane to go in that direction. But I run into someone, "Oh, I'm so-" I start to say but I got interrupted.

"You're Y/N L/N correct?" the person asks.

"Yes... and you are?" I respond.

"That's not important right now, you should come with me," they say as they start dragging me somewhere.

"But I'm suppose to meeting Momiji!" I shout at them as I trying to get my arm out of their grasp.

"Momiji isn't there, if you come with me I can explain things to you," they say as they stop pulling me to wait for my answer.

"Fine," I let them take me to wherever they were taking me. I hear a sliding door close, the person guided me to a chair so I could sit down. I hear them sit somewhere else, "So, what's going on? Where's Momiji?"

"He's with Akito-sama right now," I pause when they say that.

"A-and where am I?" I question since the last time I was dragged off it was to Akito-sama who gave me a heart attack.

"You are in my room, you are not at Akito-sama's room. I heard what happen with you from Momiji... all the zodiacs know," they say, now I'm wondering who they are.

"Who are you?" I ask my thoughts.

"I'm Kureno Sohma," oh, he's one of the cursed Sohma's.

"Ok, now please explain why Momiji's with Akito-sama."

"Akito-sama found out that you two are seeing each other."

"Then I must be with Momiji, he shouldn't take this on by himself," I stand up but Kureno stops me.

"It's best if you stay here, if you go in there you'll probably make things worse. Don't worry, Momiji can handle it if he truly cares about you and I can tell that he really cares for you," he says and I just nod. "You can stay here until they are finished talking, Momiji knows you're here since he's the one that asked me to talk to you about this."

"Thank you Kureno," I tell him as I hear him leave the room. I stay in the same position as I can't help but to wonder what's going on with Akito-sama and Momiji... I'm very worried. I fidget with my fingers as I hear a door open to the room I'm in, I patiently wait.

"I brought you some tea, I hope it helps to clear your mind... I know there's probably a lot going on in it," Kureno places a warm cup of tea in my hands.

"Thank you... you really didn't have to though," I tell him as I take a sip out of it.

"I know but I can't imagine how you feel, so I want to help you feel better," he kindly says.

"You're a very nice guy Kureno," I sigh as the warmth of the tea seemed to warm my whole body.

"Momiji mentioned that you're born in the year of the rabbit, once you learned about our curses was that why you liked him? I know it's a pretty harsh question but I'm just trying to protect Momiji," Kureno tries to start a conversation with a different topic.

"I will admit that at first I was attracted to him mostly for that reason but... now, I just love Momiji and Momiji only not just the rabbit," I tell him truthfully.

"Thanks for telling the truth, I'm glad that you like Momiji for himself."

"Y/N! Oh, good you are here," I hear Momiji's voice say to my left, I turn my head in that direction.

"Hello, Momiji," I greet him with a gentle smile.

I hear a soft sigh come from him, "I'm glad Kureno took good care of you," I nod.

"What's happening now? Are we going to caring on with our plans?" I ask and he's silent for a moment.

"I'm... I want to run away with you Y/N," Momiji quietly says. I quickly stand up and Momiji takes my hands in his so I can face him.

"Momiji, what's going on?" I ask.

"I'll explain later... can I at least go to your place?" he asks and I nod.

"Of course you can, you just have to promise you'll talk to me," I negotiate with him.

"Alright," he says and I can tell by how down his voice is that something bad had to of happened.

I turn to where I believe Kureno was, I bow. "Thank you for allowing me to stay here for a while Kureno," I tell him.

"It's the least I could do," he says and Momiji guides me to his home. He makes me wait outside as he gathers some of his belongings, once he was back he dragged me out of the Sohma estate. He took me all the way to my house, he takes the keys from me and opens the door.

My mom was home, he says a quick hello to her and takes me upstairs to my room. He closes the door behind him, I know my room off of the back of my hand so I easily walk over to my bed. I sit down and pat the spot beside me, Momiji sits next to me and leans on me.

I comb through his hair as I wait for him to speak, "I hate Akito-sama, I hate him so much!" he shouts as I feel my shirt getting wet... he's crying.

"Tell me what happened, Momiji," I gently ask.

"Akito-sama just said some really horrible things about you that I talked back to them then we got in a huge argument and now they're trying to force me to break up with you... then they want Hatori to wipe your memories," he briefly explains.

"That's why you want to run away?" I ask and he nods against me. "Momiji, you shouldn't run from your problems," I take his face in my hands. "You should face them so you don't fear them anymore."

"But... I can't win Y/N. Akito-sama has control over me and everyone that's cursed... we're all under their control," he says.

"Well you can stay here for as long as you need to but you should face Akito-sama in the future."

"I will... just not now, I just wanna be with you right now." I lay down on my bed and bring Momiji down with me, I cuddle him close to me as I let him cry. My mom softly knocks on the door and opens it, I'm lucky to have a supporting mother.

"I'll bring dinner to you two," she says then leaves the room. Momiji pecks my lips once my mom leaves the room, I smile and pull him closer to me.

"I'm here for you Momiji, you know you never have to fight battles on your own," I tell him and he pecks my lips again.

"Thanks you everything Y/N, you make this curse a bit more bearable."
