I Was Just On A Hike | Rin x Female Reader | Blue Exorcist

Hi, I'm Y/N L/N and I just met the son of satan... Rin Okumura. Let me tell you how it all happened, it started with me going to find a new hiking trail. I normally went hiking around the mountains near my house but I decided that day to go elsewhere, a very bad decision on my part. 

I was just starting the trail, it was very peaceful. There was lots of wildlife which made me believe not many people go on this trail. As I went further and further up the path I noticed that the amount of wildlife went down, my first thought was am I reaching the end already?

Once I got to the area with the least amount of wildlife I heard some strange sounds, I couldn't pinpoint where they were coming from. The one thing that I could tell was that they weren't that far away. I decided to just carry on with the path but that didn't happen, my vision was suddenly just blue.

I screamed and fell as I stared at the blue flames covering my path, I couldn't move I was too scared. The flames soon stopped and I wanted to run but as I got up and turn around ready to run, someone was behind me. "Who are you?" the boy asked, he wore glasses and had three moles on his face.

"I'm just a hiker, Y/N L/N," I told him nervously.

"Hiker?" he questioned.

"Yes, this is a hiking trail," I told him as I pointed to the trail we stood on.

"I didn't think this hiking trail was still in use, do you come here often?"

"No, I just wanted to try a new hiking trail away from where I live."

"Okay, you should head back and forget what you saw today, got it?"

"Uh... right." How could I forget what I saw that day, there were huge blue flames in front of me! When I agreed to head back that's when I saw Rin, well I didn't know it was him at the time. He was standing behind a tree and watching me talking to the guy with glasses, which I learned, later on, was Yukio Okumura. Rin's younger twin brother.

I left the forest and stood next to my car, I was still trying to take in everything that happened. But as I was putting my bag into my car I heard someone walking towards me, I closed my trunk door and turned around. Rin was standing there, he didn't look like his brother. He had messy black hair, no glasses, no moles, and a red sword bag over his shoulder.

"Hi there," he said to me in a happy and friendly tone.

"Hello," I said nervously since I was still confused about before.

"Sorry about my brother before, he can be intimidating when he wants to be."

"That was your brother?"

"Yep, we're twins!"

"You two look nothing alike."

"We get that a lot, anyway, sorry that you couldn't hike this path because of us."

"Don't worry about it."

"Wait, why don't I get something for you as an apology."

"No, you don't need to do that."

"I insist!"

"...If you insist then. Where to?" I signalled him to get in my car, he gets in and I sit in the driver's seat.

"How about the closest mall?" he suggested. I nod and start driving back into the city, I drove to the closest mall. "Okay, I'll buy you one or maybe two things here," he said as he dragged me into the mall.

I looked around for a good half-an-hour before finding something I liked, I pointed to a shirt that had some neat designs on it. "Is this okay?" I asked as he looked at the price.

"Yep, come on," he grabbed the shirt and paid for it. "Why don't I also take you out to eat?"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes! It's the least I can do."

"Okay then." I smiled at him as we went back to my car, I drove us to a nearby cafe. We ordered drinks and talked about a lot of things, I don't live in the city so talking over drinks with a guy was exciting for me. But then came the bill. 

"I'll pay," he said as he picked the bill up and stared at it for a good minute.

"What's wrong?" I asked since he wasn't saying or doing anything.

"I'm so sorry Y/N... I don't have enough to pay for this."

"Oh," I started to giggle a little at this. "It's fine, I'll pay then."

"I'm so sorry!"

"It's fine! I don't mind paying, I would've felt bad if I made you pay for everything today." I paid for the drinks since Rin didn't have the money to do so since he paid for the shirt I liked. "Where do you live, I'll take you home," I offered.

"I live in a church, I'll give you directions as you drive," he told me as I drove to the directions he gave me. It was a cute little church, "Thank you for driving me back, here contact me sometime." He gave me a piece of paper with some numbers scribbled on them.

"No problem, see ya around Rin," I said to him with a smile as he got out of my car. I watched him go into the church, I was about to pull away but someone opened my car door. It was Rin, I looked over at him confused, "Did you forget something," I asked him.

"I forgot to do something," is what he responded with. I looked at him more confused, he grabbed my shirt and pulled me towards him. He connected our lips, I was in shock. I kissed back though, at first I didn't know why but now I'm happy I did.

He then ran back into the church, I saw he had red ears making me laugh a bit as I left the church. After that we went on many dates and soon became girlfriend and boyfriend, there were many ups and downs since he is the son of Satan. But overall I'm happy to be with him.

Okay, where I live you can drive at 16 so you and Rin are 16 in this. And I honestly don't know where this fits into the plot of Blue Exorcist and think I just put two arcs together... whoopsies. Anyway! I hope you liked it, Virgo 100% out✌🏻
