(Y/n) woke up and clutched the hand in hers, opening her eyes slowly. She wasn't sure what exactly had happened but she had two things she knew for certain:1.) She wasn't dead, and didn't appear to be in any danger.
2.) She wanted her Mom. Immediately. She looks over to see Bill, who she had never missed more. He looked at her with tears in his eyes. "I m-m-missed yo-ou. P-please do-don't do s-stupid st-stuff anymore." He says, moving swiftly to hug her. His whole body trembled around the girl, in a sad attempt to hold her.
(Y/n) smiled at him, holding his face in her hands, well, as best as she could. "Bill," she croaked, her voice unused, "Billy boy I'm ok." She whispers. He smiles wearily at her, "I kn-know. I-I just-t mi-missed you." He cries.
"I-I'm gonna ca-call our fr-friends. O-ok?" Bill asked sweetly, holding her hand, still. "M-Mrs. (L/n), (Y/n) i-is awa-awake." Bill says slowly into the phone. The door opened not even minutes later with the happy face of
(Y/m/n), which was stained by tears."My baby." She says adoringly, holding (Y/n)'s face in her hands. "You're ok?" She asks, for assurance. (Y/n) nods and sits herself up comfortably. "Mom I'm ok, I promise. I just missed you." While only one of those things was actually true, (Y/n) couldn't bring herself to say anything just yet about the dream type situation she'd found herself in prior to waking up.
Other than for her mom to just hold her, which she was doing now, she wanted Richie and Stan. Her boys. Dumb and dumber. And she wasn't going to let either of them escape her affections.
Bill had gotten word from all of the Losers that they would be coming in later that afternoon to visit (Y/n), who wouldn't be discharged from the hospital for another week. The food wasn't horrible, and she could have friends if they decided to visit, so she didn't mind so much that she had to stay in the same drab room.
Now that she'd thought of it, she hadn't looked around the room closely. There were several vases with flowers on the table beside her bed. All of them with little notes.
Dear (Y/n),
I have no clue what to say. I miss you.
- Richie.
Dear (Y/n)
You're so still. I wonder if I could ever be so still. I need you right now.
- Richie.
Dear (Y/n),
Can you hear me when I talk to you? You seem to like it.
- RichieThe letters continued on, and (Y/n) asked for the nearest phone. She dialed his number and waited for him to pick up. The phone rang once. Twice. Three times. And it rang until it hit voicemail. She hung up and called again, no response, so she left a voicemail.
"Richie, it's me! I'm up, and I miss you, so come see me."
A knock at the door no more than 30 minutes later had her perked up in anticipation. Her smile wider than before, a happiness in her heart to see Richie and Stan. But it was only Eddie. Not to say she wasn't excited, it just wasn't who she needed at the moment. Then the rest of the Losers poured in one by one.Stan and Richie weren't there yet. Beverly was more than excited to see her though. "(Y/n) (M/n) (L/n)! You scared me so bad! Why would you chase after that dumbass?! You could've died! I missed you so bad." She goes through an entire range of motion and emotion before settling for giving (Y/n) a bear hug.
"We figured you'd be hungry so Mike and I picked up food on our way in. I know you like coffee and may or may not have an addiction to sweets, so we bought you mochi from the place in the next town over you like." Tells Ben, with a smile on his chubby cheeks. (Y/n) beams at her friends, then looking at Eddie for a moment.
She expects to be chewed out but all Eddie says is, "I was so worried." As someone who doesn't cry a lot, Eddie let his voice crack as he spoke. (Y/n) laughs and hugs him, "I'm ok! I promise I'm ok!" She says, holding him close.
The door makes a creaking sound and (Y/n) doesn't have the time to look before a mess of brunette curls is tickling at her face. "Never leave me again, ok?" Asks Stanley, who won't let her move away from him. He holds her out of fear that he could break her. And she doesn't break. Instead, she holds him with all her strength. "I won't. I promise you I won't." The two feel a mutual warmth in the pits of their stomachs, one that gives them the utmost satisfaction in their closeness. (Y/n) began to wonder if they could get closer, if maybe there was a way she could possibly be more connected.
After a few hours in which Eddie, Mike, Ben, Bev, Bill, Stan, and (Y/n) played board games, Eddie lost both rounds of Candy Land but got redemption in Sorry. Mrs. (l/n) broke it up by telling (Y/n) she was discharged early but to be in bed, resting for the next week. She was also grounded for drinking.
Later that night, after she'd showered and gotten herself back to center, she headed to bed. She was so happy to be home, but afraid that if she slept, it would all be gone again when she closed her eyes. She attempted for 3 hours to keep herself up, falling asleep around 10:00. She slept peacefully, with no dreams.
Her peace, however, was interrupted with a loud thud that came from her window. (Y/n) sat straight up and looked around, panicked. A tall, slender figure approached her bed and she was sure this is how she would die for the second time. In a hurried attempt to save her life, she kneed the figure in the crotch. It dropped to the ground, groaning in pain.
She flicked on her lamp and picked up a pair of scissors to defend herself. However, laying on the ground was her moron- Richie Tozier, holding his crotch in pain.
(Y/n) flew to where he was and sat me red to him.
"Richie! I am so sorry! I thought you were the clown and I-" she mumbles quickly. He cuts her off, "(N/n), babydoll, it's fine. Just gimme a minute cause goddamn!" He winces."Ok! Can I get you anything? I'm so sorry!"
"Nope. Just let me talk to you. That's all I want."
"Rich, why are you here so late?"
"What? Don't you miss me sweetcheeks?"
"More than anything. But it's so late, and I'm curious."
"My dad came back in the house today. My mom's thinking about letting him come back."| I'm on vacation! I'm so happy! Anyways, y'all aren't ready for what I have planned. I'm almost done with the book. Maybe like 5 more chapters?|
