Even after making up, (Y/n) thought about what Richie had said. She couldn't help but think that maybe he wasn't 100% wrong in saying so. So, she figured she'd talk to him.

(Y/n) got changed into something comfortable, and hopped in the car to go to Richies house, mostly because he lived a few blocks away and it was too cold to walk and too icy to bike ride.

The (h/c) girl stood in front of the door, waiting for someone to answer it. Maggie, or Mrs. Tozier as (Y/n) called her, contrary to Maggie asking her to drop the formalities, had become a friend of the (L/n)'s. (Y/n) also went to go see Richie a lot, so that made it less awkward.

"(Y/n)! It's so nice to see you, sweetie! Richie's in his room with Beverly. You can just go on up, ok? If you need anything at all, feel free to get it." Maggie hugged (Y/n) and sent the girl upstairs.

(Y/n) knocked on the door and waited a moment. Richie opened it with a questioning look as to who possibly was there, with no warning nonetheless. "(N/n)!" He smiled, pulling her into a bear hug. "T'wasn't a warned visit, m'lady." He joked, looking down at her. "Well, good sir, I simply had to see you." (Y/n) returned in the same accent, before dropping her expression. "Can we talk?" She asks Richie.

"Yeah, of course." He said seriously, "Bev's here though." Richie reminded. "I know." The (e/c) eyed girl says, walking into the room to be met by a hug from Beverly. "Hey (Y/n)!"
"What's up Marshmallow?" "Nothing much, Richie and I were gonna go get food, and be out all day today, if you wanted to come." "It's ok, I'll see you guys tomorrow anyways."

(Y/n) then went to Stanley's house, changing into proper clothing before knocking on the door, because she knows how Stan's parents are about him having "proper friends". (Y/n) knocks, waiting for Stans's parents.

"Oh, it's (Y/n)! We missed you sweetie! Stan's in his room, keep the door 5 inches open, please." Stan's mom, Andrea, smiled at me. "Will do, thank you Ma'am!" (Y/n smiled, took her shoes and coat off and ran upstairs. When she reached Stan's room, the door was closed, so (Y/n) knocked. When he didn't respond, she just opened it and he was asleep still.

She went and sat by his legs, looking at how peaceful he was. He didn't look upset, or confused, or stressed. (Y/n) brought her hand to his shoulder to tap him, however, he started furrowing his brows. So, she instead messed with his hair, which he only lets her do sometimes. Shortly after, he woke up, to look at (Y/n). "G'morning." He says, pulling her hand into his for a minute.

Stan then got up, went into the bathroom, changed into some skinny jeans and a light blue button down. He looked fantastic, to say the least. "Good morning to you too, Stanel the Manel. I need to talk to you." He was still brushing his teeth, and (Y/n) just smiled at him. Until he was done.

"So, short stack, what did you want to talk about?" Stan smiles, looking over at (Y/n). However, his smile dropped when he saw her expression, "(N/n)? What's wrong?" He asked her, moving very gently to face her.

"Was Richie right?" The (h/c) girl asked, her face holding a look of general disgust that was held at her naivety.
"Well..." The curly headed boy trailed off.
"So he is using me?"
"I'm so sorry (N/n). I wish we had warned you."
"Stanny?"
"Yes?"
"Can I have a hug?"
"Of course."

So, Stan took (Y/n) into his embrace while she shed a few silent tears. He held her even tighter. And they stayed like that for a few minutes. "Wanna go to Mike's? You know his grandma makes the best hot chocolate." Stan asks. "Yeah. Can you not leave me? I just- please?" "Of course."

The two tell Andrea and Donald that they're leaving to go see Mike. Stan's parents like Mike.

(Y/n) and Stan hold hands the entire way there, while Stan drives her car. (Y/n) doesn't oppose, seeing as she's an emotional wreak.

(Y/n) is grateful for for Stan because he's always there and usually very put together, unlike a lot of other people. And he's never told her that he just wouldn't be there for her, thankfully. Stan's also very good at making her feel better. He's good at holding her, and he's good at making all of her fear and doubt go away. The two have spent many night's together just talking to each other, or while (Y/n) comforted Stan or vise versa.

As they arrived at the farm, Stan kept her hand in his, which was shocking because he didn't usually care for PDA. Mike came to the door, and welcomed them in. "Hot chocolate?" He asked. (Y/n) smiled, "Yes please." She and Stan said. And, boy, was it good.

  "So, what's wrong?" Mike asked.
"How'd you know?"
"First of all, we usually have hot chocolate all together at my house. Secondly, Stan's being affectionate in public which doesn't happen unless he wants something or someone is really upset."
"Caiden just sucks. He doesn't actually like me."

Upon watching the girl cry a few more tears, Stan set both of their mugs down and pulled her into him. "C'mon. Shhhh, you're ok. It's all gonna be ok, (Y/n)." He rubbed her back soothingly, which calmed her down quickly.

"(Y/n)? You want me to get you something to eat? Drink?" Mike asked. "I'm ok." She says, staying close to Stan. "What about you Stan?" "I'll take whatever to eat." He says.

Mike came back with his Grandmas homemade macaroni and cheese, which was to die for. "Here." He smiled. Stan took the bowl and looked at (Y/n), "I know you didn't eat today." He says, giving her a bite. (A/n: does anyone else feed their friends? Just me?)

"You gonna be ok?" Mike asks, as (Y/n) and Stan take their leave. "I've got her." He says.

   "Stan?"
"Yes?"
"Am I a bother to you?"
"Not at all. You're going through a tough time, let me help you."
"Would you mind-"
"Not at all, let me get some clothes from home and I can live with you all week. We can stay in and watch Christmas movies." He offers.
"Thank you."

When they get back, Stan's parents are gone. "We could stay here, if you want. I think they're on another meet."
"Yeah. Can we watch The Grinch?"
"Of course."

So, the two sat on the couch and watched The Grinch together. Their hands together, as close as they can be, under a fluffy blanket together. (Y/n) ended up falling asleep on Stan's shoulder, which made Stan blush.

He kissed her forehead, despite his brain telling him it was a bad idea. Because, as it goes, people do crazy things when they're in love, and Stan is as in love as ever.

A/n: ONE WEEK UNTIL CHRISTMAS!! Anywho, I'm sorry I didn't update last week, it's been crazy with everything going on this month, and year, in general. I'll be updating more than once this weekend so stay tuned. I don't think, after this week, I'll be updating again until after Christmas because of how insane my schedule is.
