After the other day, (Y/n) didn't want to go to her last day of school. But, it was her chance to make a good exit before Junior year, so she figured she would go anyways, dispute basically running out of her own house.
After getting dressed for school for the last time in the next few months, she told Bev that it would be fun for them to ride together. (Y/n) was allowed to drive, and had a license and everything, but she didn't trust herself with a car after the accident.
"Get in loser! We're going shopping!" Beverly called, her red hair bouncing as she came to an abrupt stop.
"God, I wish we were." (Y/n) jokes, running to the car.
Beverly goes to speak but (Y/n) simply tells her, "Bevvy, I can't pick."
"But you have to!" Bev whines.
"I like both of them. I can see it now. Stand sad face, Richie's sad face. The awkwardness. I can't do it." She sighs, running her hands through the roots of her (h/c) hair.
"Ok but who are you choosing?" Bev asks curiously, smirking at (Y/n).
"That's another problem!" The red head sighs dramatically, looking at her best friend with raised eyebrows.
"Ok. You wake up in the morning and he kisses you. Who is it?" She asks.
"Eww! Bev! No! We're not having this conversation."
"It was Richie, wasn't it?"
"No! It wasn't Stan either."
"Who was it then?"
"Eddies mom."Bev smiled, rolling her eyes. They were at school, so no more grilling (Y/n). The (h/c) girl met up with Eddie before her first class, so that he could give her advice. However, his advice proved to be less than helpful when all he said was:
"Why don't you date both?"
To which (Y/n) laughed and dismissed herself to first period.FINAL DANCE OF THE YEAR!!
LAST DANCE OF THE YEAR!!
CELEBRATE THE LAST DANCE THIS YEAR!!The hallways were plagued with posters upon posters of the last dance of the year, which was basically taunting the poor (h/c) girl. Who would she go with if both boys asked her? Was she even going? Was she just gonna go by herself?
Her train of thought was broken by a voice.
"He-hey! Wai-wait up!" It was Bill.
"Billy boy! What can I do for ya?" (Y/n) asked.
"Do you wa-wanna go to th-the dan-dance w-with me?" He stuttered.
"Yeah! But what about Bevvy? I know you like her."
"Sh-she's going wi-with Ben."
"Thanks for asking me. I was worried Richie or Stan would and I'd have to turn one of them down."
"Ob-obviously! S-so.. who are you p-picking?"This is where you make the choice besties!! This is the Richie option. Marked with a little star to signify the beginning and end. If you pick Stan, skip till the next star. Or don't. I don't care. [as].

"Richie."
"I kn-kn-knew it! I knew i-it!" Bill smiled.
"If you tell him, I will find you, and I will cut your arm off, set it on fire, and beat you with it."
"Y-yes ma'am!" Bill laughed, "S-so, don't te-tell him I tol-told you, but h-he was going t-to ask you." The stuttering boy said.
"You're fucking with me." The (h/c) girl concluded.
"I'm no-not! B-but I was-wasn't sure... so I a-asked."
"I still wanna go with you Billy boy. I'm not gonna ditch you for Richie just because he and I may or may not be romantically involved." She assured. Bill smiled at her.Someone tapped (Y/n) on the shoulder and she turned around, causing Bill to stop and look too. It was Caiden, that asshole.
"Step aside B-b-bill. (Y/n), will you go to the last da-"
"Caiden! I swear to god you better not be trying to take that little slut with you!" A voice cut him off. That would be Greta Bowie.
"We broke up Greta. Get over it!" Caiden yells.
"Still! Don't talk to that slut! She'll give you the STD's she gets from sleeping with all of the Losers she hangs out with!" Greta sneers.
"Greta, shut the fuck up. Disrespectfully." (Y/n) calmly says.
"Is that why you got cheated on? Because you're really such a bitch." Greta retorts.
Silently, (Y/n) takes the jewelry from her piercings and hands them to Bill, after she pulls her hair up into a bun.
"I might be a 'bitch' but at least that'll go away without plastic surgery." The (h/c) girl retorts.
