A TURN OF EVENT (Lion King and My Pride Crossover ) UP FOR ADOPTION

Chapitre 13 : Rogues in the Pridelands

It had been two weeks since the battle between Pridelanders and Outsiders and everything returned back to normal in the Pridelands. The Lionesses of Zira's Pride grew accustomed of their life in Simba's kingdom and they even befriended some Pridelanders. Speaking of the King, since Kovu became his daughter's mate, Simba began his training as future King while Kiara got to spend more time with her friends. Nala , for her part, sometimes brang Kiara to the hunt and during those two weeks, the Princess's hunting skills grew thanks to her mother and mate's lessons.

It was nothing but peace in the Pridelands. Nothing , Hover, Feather and Aisha were at the Watering Hole relaxing alongside Nala , Kiara and Vitani ( Kovu's sister ). The reddish-beige Male was sitting beside his mate who was pressing her head against his mane , purring. As the time passed, their relationship grew considerably and it was now hard to see them without each other's side.

Nothing and Hover , for their part, was pressed against one another contently. The disabled Lioness was completely satisfied with how the Goddesses blessed her : at first she was a neglected and tormented Lioness back to the Sisters' Steppe , then she was exiled by Proudmane....now she was a respected member of Simba's Pride.

However, her content smile turned into a sad one : she missed someone dearly....someone who was always be there for her after her father Starmane died years ago... she missed her brother Fire... The reddish-browned Male always protected her from the mockery of their half-siblings Farleap and Silentstalk.

Noticing her sadness, Kiara asked with concern "Are you alright Nothing ?" The others looked at the disabled Lioness who sighed "I miss Fire..." Vitani's eyes widened and she was about to say something when Hover stepped in " You mean your brother ?" "Yes..." Nothing responded sadly as she looked at the horizon "I hope he is alright....wherever he is..."

Feather got up and approached his cousin before gently pulling her into a hug "I'm sure he is..." The disabled Lioness returned the hug with a smile "Thank you Feather..." "Anytime !" The reddish-beige young Lion replied with a smile before returning to his previous spot, near his mate who looked at him warmly.

"Feather is right you know...If Fire is as strong as you are...then I'm sure he is fine~" The Queen inquired with a smile earning one from the disabled Lioness "Thank you Nala..."

Soon footsteps caught their attention and everyone turned their heads to see Simba and Kovu returning from patrol. Kiara purred as her mate pressed his head against her's "How was the patrol ?" "Everything was calm nothing in particular..." Simba nodded in agreement before sitting against Nala's side. The Queen happily pressed her head against the King's mane earning a soft smile from the Golden Male.

" What can disturb the Pridelands now ? The Outsiders are now at our side and Zira is no more....Nothing to worry about !" Aisha remarked with a content as she purred from the feeling of the Sunlight on her honey fur. "Yes but they are still rogues out there....or Hyenas ready to cause chaos in the Pridelands..." Simba responded with a frown and Kovu nodded in agreement "Yes we shouldn't let our guard because War is finished..."

"How about we stop thinking about bad things for a moment and just enjoy the warmth of the sub against our pelt ?" Feather inquired with a grin which caused everyone to look at him "I agree with Feather there guys..." Vitani agreed as she closed her eyes in content. Simba as well as the others then decided to follow the reddish-beige Male's idea and just enjoy the moment of peace.

But they were unaware of what was coming toward them...

At the other side of Pridelands , near the Great Desert (Prideless Stretch if you prefer) , 2 males Lions walked among the tall grasses. The first one had a pale brown fur with a cream muzzle, toes, eyelids, belly, and tail. His mane was a fuzzy pale blonde with two drapes and he got lime green eyes. The second male had a dark grey-cream fur and emerald green eyes. His mane was reddish brown in color. He also got a circular scar on his shoulder, as well as having a scar across his snout and a torn ear.

The two of them were rather muscular and were looking for food as it had been days since they last ate something. They climbed on a hill (the same one Nothing and Feather climbed on years ago) and gasped in shock at the sight before them : a vast land full of life , filled with different type preys like Wildebeests and Zebras.

The reddish-brown maned Lion looked at his comrade "Do you think there is a Pride here ?" "I don't know...maybe... It would be strange to not find any Lions in this place..." "True..." the dark-gray cream furred Male sighed as he glanced at some rock-like structure in the distance. "You know...I think its time for us to have a Pride of our own... We are strong enough..." "I know but...I don't like the idea of killing someone in cold-blood..." "I know the feeling...;but its what Pride-law demands..." The Blond maned Male nodded to his friend before saying "Well then...I think we have no choice..." With that said the two Lions entered deeper in the territory toward the rock-like structure dominating the area.

As they walked , they tried their best to stay hidden in the tall grasses , bushes or whatever things that could hide them. Then a strange sound caught their attention and slowly, they decided to investigate. What they saw surprised them : a Meerkat and a red juicy Warthog were feasting on some bugs which earned a disgusted groan from the two Males.

The Blond Maned Lion looked at his comrade who nodded back at him before the two approached their targets and soon-to-be-meals. Their preys were unaware of their presence until the reddish-brown maned Male charged them with a roar. The two insectivores yelped in shock and managed to dodged the Lion's attack before running away at full speed with their attackers pursuing them.

Meanwhile at Priderock, everyone was still relaxing peacefully until a loud cry of help echoed. The whole Pride got up and looked toward where the cries came from. In the distance, they saw Timon and Pumbaa appearing from some bushes and they looked scared about something. The King along with Nala, Kiara , Kovu , Vitani, Nothing , Feather , Hover and Aisha approached the frightened duo.

"HELP SIMBA HELP !" Timon cried as he approached them " THEY'RE GONNA EAT US !" Pumbaa added fearfully which earned a raise-brow from everyone "They ?" Simba asked them when the duo hided behind him. Suddenly two roars echoed and everyone turned their heads to see two stranges Lions approaching them.

Simba roared challengingly and the two newcomers stopped in their tracks as they looked at the Pride before them. Kovu and Feather went to stand at Simba's side as they glared at the newcomers who growled back them. The two rogues were slightly taller than Kovu and Feather but a bit smaller than Simba "Who are you ? And what are you doing in the Pridela-" the King was interrupted by a familiar disabled Lioness "SIMBA WAIT !"

Everyone looked at her as she made her way toward the newcomers whose eyes widened in shock as they looked at her. Nothing's yellow-amber eyes was especially looking at the reddish-brown maned Lion and soon she said one word that shocked everyone present.

"FIRE !"

Note: Here a new chapter of 'A TURN OF EVENT' ! As promised , we saw Fire AND Tangle (still alive). However I decided to wait a bit before saying if they are mates or not. Now please tell me in the comments what you want to happen next : Fire and Tangle as couple ? Or having a Lioness for each other them ?
