Imprisonment With a Twist

Loud thumps. Noises. Vividly fading in and out of hearing. Tyler opens his eyes and he looks around thinking it's a dream, a dark dream with Mogalops all around him. Once slightly stable he realizes it isn't a dream, he was in a prison cell on Polagom. He tries remembering what happened but can't. As he rises his hearing stops and his vision turns blue, he looks down at his hands but can't see them. He tries touching the wall but when he does, it's like his hands go through it. Then his hearing comes back and his vision returns to normal, his hand was now in the wall somehow and he was luckily able to pull it out. "What is happening?" He says, then some alien wearing dark purple and gold walks up to his cell and shouts at him, telling him to stay against the wall. Tyler does as he requests and it happens again, he fades. The alien draws his gun and Tyler says "Don't shoot at me!" The alien looks around very confused as if tylers voice was not in front of him. The alien calls for guards and Tyler fades back. "Woah." He says with a shock, "Maybe this is what Wrech talked about, dimensional warping." When the guard returns, he's shocked to see Tyler up against his cell. The alien had called for a Mogalop and the Mogalop looks through the cell and sees him there. "HE WASN'T THERE BEFO-" and right before he could finish, the mogalop stomps on him, killing him. The mogalop then walks away leaving Tyler alone. He now kind of has an idea of what his ability does. So he waits for the right opportunity to use it, then he fades. Now, he goes through the bars with ease and manages to get out of the prison he was in. He fades back, now outside, he looks around to see where he could go or even where his spear could be. He runs down the main road and very close by is a large house, likely for the mogalops, and he hides behind one of them. A large city can be seen in the distance with bright lights, mogalops, and even a floating city above that one. The technology these things had achieved was crazy, he saw a large pitchfork like structure that shot into the atmosphere and wondered if maybe that was the portal home. He knew he had to get there but not without his weapon. Right then, a mogalop came out og the house he was hiding behind and was wearing formal attire. It walked towards the prison so Tyler thought that maybe this guy had access to where his spear was being held. He quickly got into the house by squeezing through the crack in the door. The house wasn't bad honestly, kind of modern for what he was imagining. Looking around he did see a desk with what looked like some kind of laptop so he checked there first. Climbing up he saw it was open, showing the mapped out landscape of Polagom. On it was a direct route leading from the prison to somewhere he couldn't read the name of, he assumed it was how'd he'd be transported and heard a loud yell in the distance. It was the Mogalop that lived in this house, so he quickly tried looking and saw a transport shuttle that was glowing heading to the same place he was. Right next to the large pitchfork. The mogalop burst through the door in anger and got to it's laptop searching for a tracker, Tyler didn't realize he was being tracked and watched as the mogalop looked at the track only to zoom in on his house. "This mogalop," Tyler thought, "It's much smarter than the soldiers" The mogalop stood up from his chair and turned off the computer. "AAAAAAA" The mogalop yelled. Tyler was ducked down beneath the desk and started running for the door but was seen, the mogalop chased him and Tyler barely got out but did. Tyler faded right as he got outside and the mogalop looked in confusion as to where he had gone. Tyler took his chance and hopped on the side of a car that was headed toward the city. The sky was dark and smog filled, no specific light source just a low brightness from behind the dark clouds. The city seemed out of this world as he got closer. Seeing another city above the second, just cities that built up towards the sky. He wondered if maybe this was the commoners on the ground, and the higher of power towards the top. Approaching the giant pitchfork he got off before reaching it, he saw an opportunity to maybe get on a supply container that was going to earth to be loaded with goods. While running towards the pitchfork he saw the area where portals would appear and disappear. He fades, now he runs for the portal as fast as he can, although when he gets closer he sees a large cage with humans in it. Tyler stops dead in his tracks in awe, those were the people at the CLF. They were being taken here and that's why they couldn't find anyone while they were searching. He knew he couldn't just leave them, but he also saw the truck displayed on the screen where his spear was being taken. He thought about what he should do but in that moment he fades back. In panic, he runs towards the truck and climbs onto its side. It was locked and he couldn't get in so he strapped in for wherever this was heading. But it was heading for another portal and that place wasn't earth, it looked like hell. Fire. Red and orange. He was trying to think of how he could get his spear out, maybe a saying. "With spear towards- No that won't work" The he remembered the other saying. "Towards me, i call the strongest on the sea" Then through the truck, the spear shoots out and hits Tyler on the chest, launching him back. The surrounding mogalops see him and start charging as Tyler runs towards the spear and when he grabs it he slams it down, sending a shockwave of energy in a circle around him. He runs over to the people and says "Stand aside" Tyler points and shoots out the lock on the cage, freeing the people. He escorts them over towards the portal to earth as the mogalops get up and start fighting with Tyler, one slash after the other the mogalops are hit and sliced up by him and they all fall to the ground. Loud sirens call out in whatever they speak, he knew those were for him. Every portal shuts and more mogalops show up and throw themselves at Tyler, he dodges and just tries to stay alive however he can. Thinking and taking in what his situation is he comes to the conclusion that he's probably over, no way he could do this and get a portal open. "Wrech" He thinks to himself "He'll come for me" Then in that instant he hears "Tyler!" He turns around and smiles while fighting the mogalops. "I'm glad you made it, i knew you would"
