Chapter twenty seven

Rolling over I reach for Raven but he isn't there, opening my eyes I look around for him. Not wanting to get up yet I link him, "babe where are you?"

"I'm getting some work done in my office, you were so peaceful looking and it was early, so I didn't want to wake you. You alright?" He asks.

"Yes I was just wondering where you were, I missed you, I love feeling you next to me." I link back and he walks in a minute later.

I laugh as he jumps on the bed next to me, "I'm here now what do you want to do with me?" He wiggles his eyebrows making me laugh again.

Leaning into him I kiss his lips and he pulls me on top of him. "Good morning my love," I say softly against his lips.

"It is now," his voice takes on a husky quality then he's kissing me again.

We spend the next twenty minutes just cuddling and kissing. Then my stomach decides to chime in making me laugh.

"I think our baby is hungry babe," Rave smiles, "let's get some breakfast."

"Ok, oh we need to talk to your contractor about the additions to the house," I say remembering.

"Don't worry I already called him he coming over at two," he says with a smirk.

We are just about to enter the kitchen when I hear Jackie saying, "icecream IS a respectable breakfast and it has fruit in it so see perfectly healthy!"

Walking in I try not to laugh at the look on Leon's face, I can tell he's some what frustrated but thinks she's cute at the same time.

"Ooh icecream... I want some!" I say.

"See I'm not the only one!" Jackie says making me smile.

"You won't just eat icecream will you?" Raven asks with a look of concern.

"Can you be a dear and make me cheesy mashed potatoes too?" I ask because that sounds so good right now.

"Oh and bacon!" Jackie yells excitedly.

"Yeah and bacon!" I say trying not to drool.

Laughing Raven heads to the kitchen to comply with my requests while I serve myself icecream. I put fruit and hot fudge on top, "pass the hot fudge this way!" Jackie says around her spoon.

I pass it to her and sit down to dig in, Leon joined Raven in the kitchen and is observing how to cook bacon.

"Leon can you order us pizza?" I ask and Jackie adds, "and bbq wings?"

Happy that she wants more than just icecream he calls the local pizza joint to order us pizza.

I get one with mushrooms, black olives, pepperoni, ham, bacon, and pineapple.
Jackie wants hers with peppers, ham, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and tomatoes.

The guys settle for some with everything meat, and decide to order two dozen pepperoni for everyone else.

And yes they remember the wings for us. After our feast I was so full I felt like Violet Beauregard in Charlie in the chocolate factory. Rubbing my full belly I ended up on the couch next to Jackie, who was trying not to fall asleep. We decided to watch Baby Boom while the guys were working, Leon being the awesome guy he is has been helping Jackie with some of her duties, mostly because he's worried about her stressing out.

Raven has okayed this because her stressing herself out is the last thing he wants for his twin. He told me how proud he was that her mate was such a great guy and not some asshole. I think that he is also extremely relieved that her mate wasn't some other Alpha, they have always been very close and her leaving would have left him depressed.

It doesn't help that now because of that chick, even though she's not a great loss, he seems to have some abandonment issues. Mostly that I will leave him too, he woke one night and I wasn't in bed with him and he freaked out for a second before I came back into the room.

"What's the matter?" I had asked when he rushed to me.

"Where did you go?" He asked me with his face in my neck.

"I forgot I put a soda in the freezer, I went to get it before it exploded," I say rubbing his back. "It's ok I'm here, let's go back to bed," I say leading us to it.

"Sorry it's just this dream I had, you were gone and I couldn't find you, I kept calling out to you and you weren't there. Then I woke up and like in my dream you were gone," he shudders out a breath.

"I'm here," I say again.

"I know," he whispers kissing me, that night may have been when we conceived our baby, but then again maybe not..

Half way through the movie Jackie succumbed to the nap that was calling her name, I at least made it through the movie before falling asleep.

I'm not sure how long I slept when Sabrina woke me, "Scarlett we are supposed to be training, now wake up sleepy head."

Groaning I stretch then open my eyes to see a smiling Sabrina. "Good afternoon are you ready to go meditate outside?" She asks.

Sighing I nod, getting up we head out back and go to a quiet little spot by an old oak tree.

"Ok first we must clear our minds and center ourselves," she says as she sits on the floor closing her eyes.

Following her example, I sit on my butt and cross my legs, closing my eyes I clear my mind of all the things I have to worry about, instead I focus on the feel of the ground beneath me, the slight breeze that is ruffling my hair and touching my skin. The sounds of the area around us as the sun gently warms us in the partial shade we have here.

"Good you have centered yourself well, let's keep up this meditation for a bit before we start today's visualization training," Sabrina says and so I continue to just be for now.
