Chapter thirty three

I woke up to Raven shaking me, "Scarlett," I opened my eyes and covered my mouth yawning, "what's wrong Rave?"

He hugged me suddenly startling me, "thank God you're ok today!"

"Babe can't breathe..." I rasp.

"Oh sorry, I'm just glad you're back to normal," he says letting go.

Rolling my eyes I notice that it's still dark out. "Raven what time us it?"

"Umm five thirty-eight... I think?" He gets this funny look of "oh shit" on his face.

"Seriously wtf are we up so early for?" I say quietly instead of yelling at him for waking me so early.

"Sorry I have a meeting with all my officers and conference calls with Dev and the other Alphas in the alliance, as well. I don't want to worry you but we have reason to believe Alpha Rohan is up to something, I'm just not sure what yet." Here he tells me not to worry but he clearly is and I know why, that man isn't a good person and I don't trust him.

"Do you want me to come with?" I ask him and he shakes his head, "no baby I'm sorry I got you up so early. Go ahead and go back to sleep till a more decent time," he says kissing me before he leaves.

I do as he asks and get as comfortable as I can without him and sleep for another hour at most, waking up again I get up and waddle into the bathroom to take a shower. I've been banned from taking baths by myself by Raven, as soon as he learned I was pregnant he insisted on being in there with me and would freak out if I took one without him. "What if you fell?" He had said and this was back when I was barely showing mind you. There is no way in hell I would attempt it now. I'm so huge I can't even see my feet.

After my shower I go to my closet and pick out a green dress and slip it on. I brush my hair and pull it into a ponytail, I mind link Martha and ask her to help me down stairs since Yen is in the meeting. She tells me she is on her way up, I slip on my tennis and walk into the hall to wait.

Kohaku- Scarlett I have a feeling something bad is going to happen today.

"Like what? Are our pups ok?" I ask worried.

Kohaku- yes the pups are ok but it's just this bad feeling. Becareful my beautiful human and I will use all of my strength to keep our pups safe.

I know you will, and I will be as safe as I can.

Keeping that in mind I ask one of our warriors to help me down stairs as well.

Martha and Ryan get to the top of the stairs and lead me down. We just got to the bottom when I feel a searing pain in my middle making me double over. Both Martha and Ryan grab me at the same time, "LUNA" "SCARLETT SWEETIE!"

"Something is wrong," I gasped. Then I felt liquid running down my leg, the copper scent hit next, I was bleeding, oh Goddess NO!!

Ryan picked me up and ran me to the pack hospital while Martha ran to get Raven.

"Oh Goddess protect my pups!!" I prayed.

The doctors had Ryan lay me down on the bed and step out telling him to keep Raven from getting in.

Otherwise Ren could take over and we all could be lost.
Oh God it hurts so much! I'm gripping the bed so hard my knuckles are white.

"Luna I think the placenta has started to detach from the wall of your uterus, if we don't get your babies out now we could lose them!" She explains in a hurry.

"SAVE THEM NOW!!" I yell.

The other doctor comes in talking about needing to numb me or knock me out, but I yell at them to hurry up.
Outside the room I can hear Raven yelling at whose ever holding him to let him go, and as much as I wish he could hold my hand or something I hope that they don't.

"Ok Luna dont move!" The doctor says as we are running out of time. I held the bed with my death grip and I tried, I really did, to keep quiet but at one point it was just too much and I screamed. It was so loud and awful, then I hear Raven/Ren roar louder than I've ever heard, I hope he doesnt hurt anybody.

"Ok here's the first get ready!" The doc opening me yells out to the second and the nurse that will be assisting her.

Then I hear the sounds of one of my pups, it's a boy and he's crying. I feel the tears rolling down the sides of my face as I hear his sweet cries. He is soon joined by his brother and two sisters. A minute apart for each and the other doctor says that they are doing great. She still wants to keep an eye on them but they appear to be doing well.

I thank the Goddess for watching over my pups then my eyes start to close. It's as if they weigh a ton the last thing I heard before everything faded to black was the doctor calling the other to help her I was still bleeding and she didn't know why, she started yelling for the other nurses to get her packs of blood for a transfusion. While they also set up Iv fluids to go into me.

"Stay with us Luna we need you!" One of the nurses begged me.

I wanted to see my babies, to hold them close to me, breathe in their baby scent and look into their eyes. I haven't gotten to hold them! I need to name them or Raven will call them something like Ironman! Please I can't leave them!!!!

"It is ok my child, you will get your chance but for now you must rest for you and your wolf are tired, this is not the end you have only just begun!" I heard a calm motherly voice speak to me and I trusted her, so I let myself sleep.
