Chapter thirty six

Raven's POV

The chair wasn't that bad but I missed my bed, I missed holding Scar while in my bed. SCAR! bolting up I look first at my pups to see if they are ok.

They are all sleeping soundly, hopefully having good dreams. Then I turn to Scarlett, her beautiful auburn hair is fanned out around her on the pillow and her once pale face has color back in it, and her golden gaze is on me.

Getting up I move over to her and carefully hug her, "you scared the crap out of me," my voice cracks just thinking of losing her or our pups makes my blood run cold.

"The babies?" Her voice is soft and hoarse from not using it, then she coughs, "water."

I get up and get her a glass of water from the adjoining bathroom, seeing her trying to sit up when I come out I quickly move to her side.

"Baby you shouldn't be moving yet," I put down her water and help her sit up so she doesn't hurt herself.

"Can I hold them?" Her voice is so quiet.

"Drink your water first please?" I ask handing it to her, and she drinks it.

I go and pick up our eldest son, "ok baby it's time to name our kiddos," I smile handing her our son.

She looks at him with so much love, "how about Azure Ray Frost?" She asks me and it's as if he already knows his name, he opens his eyes and they look like mine. His deep blue eyes look at us both and he coos at us. As Scar holds him I get his brother so we can name him next. I lift him up and he yawns, I carefully place him in Scarlett's other arm.

"How about Jackson Black Frost," I say wondering if she will like it.

She smiles, "yeah," she kisses our boys on the head. Her eyes shining with tears, "thank the moon Goddess you're ok." I silently thank her again as well.

"Now for our girls," I say happily getting up I scoop them up and sit next to Scar.

"Hmm... how about Rosemary Sage Frost and Juniper Rose Frost?" I ask Scarlett and she smiles, "I love it and they do too look," the girls are smiling. Rosemary opens her eyes and they are golden like Scarlett's and Juniper's are like mine. Jackson finally opens his eyes and they are a mix of mine and Scarlett's, they are golden around his pupils and are a lighter blue till they turn dark blue around the out side.

"We've made some beautiful kids," Scarlett smiles at me and I have to agree.
We hear a knock on the door and our family peeks in followed by Dev and Selena.

"Oh thank God you're ok," the girls all cry at the same time.
Soon everyone is vying for their turn to hold our pups, and our pups take it in stride, that is till they get hungry, Scarlett feeds Rosemary and Jackson while I feed Azure and Selena feeds Juniper. I have to hand over Azure to my mom soon after I started feeding him to help Scarlett because she is still tired and hasn't healed enough yet.

My dad, Leon, and Dev left a little while ago, I was supposed to go too but I'm not ready to leave my mate and pups yet, not to mention Ren and Kohaku would also be less than pleased as well. Ren has been beside himself, and when he couldn't reach Kohaku, let's just say if he could leave marks I would be torn up.

"How are your kids Selena, how's the new babies?" My mom asks conversationally.

"They are good, sad they had to stay home, but I had to see Scarlett and make sure she was ok," Selena has tears in her eyes and gets choked up by the end.

"Yeah she scared us all," Jackie says with a trembling voice.

"I'm going to be alright guys," Scarlett tries to console them.

"Rave can you burp Jackson please he's done eating?" Scar asks and I place him at my shoulder and gently start patting my son's back.

Soon I hear him letting out little burps, who new a burp could sound so cute. Then he farted and I think he did more than farted. With a panicked look, I look at Scarlett and the ladies all laugh at me.

"Don't worry son I'll talk you through it," my mom says and moves me to a changing station they had set up for us.

I set my son on the table and my mom brings me all I'll need to change his diaper, ok I got this what's a little poop. Ok for those who don't know this the first time a baby goes number two its black like tar and it's like glued to his butt. I may have said "wtf" a little loud making my mom and Selena laugh, but scaring Scar, Jackie, and my pups.

"Sorry that was unexpected," Jackie comes over to see what I'm talking about and says, "remind me to have Leon change our baby's first diaper," making us laugh.

"Son you should hurry or he's going to pee on you," mom says causing me to turn to her, "what," is all I get out before my little man pees on the side of my face.

Note to self: babies pee when cold.
I clean up my son and get him in a fresh diaper and wrap him up while my mom cleans up my face, while trying not to laugh at me.

Soon I have to repreat this process with Azure, without getting peed on this time.

Then it's time to change my girls and I'm stumped again, my mom saves me and demonstrates on Juniper for me so I can clean Rosemary on my own. Scarlett apologizes for not helping and I make a face at her that clearly says shut up, "babe you just had an emergency c-section to save our pups without any pain blockers. Stop apologizing ok, I can do this till you're better alright." She nods and leans back I can tell she's tired, she needs to take it easy.

"Hey Rave, sorry to pull you away but we need you now," Leon says at the door.

Time to get back to work, sighing I kiss my pups and Scar. I wave to the others asking them to stay with Scarlett and they nod, I head out.... time to get back to the other Alphas.
