We walked out of the room and the only thing going through my mind was what Fitz said. I mean, I know Keefe would never hurt me, and Fitz had no right to say that because Fitz already hurt me.

Keefe back his hand on my lower back and I felt myself retracting from his touch. He dropped his hand and sighed.

As we left the hotel, I walked behind the gang, all I could think about was what Fitz told me and I didn't know how to stop.

"Hey Soph, you okay?" Biana asked and I shook my head with a small smile. I physically was fine, but that's all I could say.

Keefe walked next to me silently and grabbed my hand. I bit my lip and used all i had in me to not draw back my hand. "What's wrong, Foster?" He whispered and I didn't look over to him, I didn't want to have this conversation right now.

"We can talk later, just forget about it for now please." I transmitted to him and he nodded, but he still looked concerned, and he should. If what Fitz said was true, then this changes a lot of things.

We got to the club and I could already tell this wasn't going to end well, there were paramedics loading a girl into an ambulance, probably alcohol poisoning. I know how Biana likes to party, there was going to be a bunch of guys on her, on lihn too. Elves are naturally stunning, even the ugliest elf is equivalent to the prettiest human. Girls would be all over Dex, Tam, Fitz, and Keefe. This was definitly going to be an interesting night.

We got into the club with ease, the bouncers didn't even ask for our ID's.

As soon as we walked in, all eyes were instantly on them. I walked over to the bar, knowing i wasn't going to want to remember what happened tonight. Keefe followed me, he stood beside me with his arm around my waist.

"There are a lot of pretty girls here." I said and Keefe kind of shook his head. "Yes, and only one has my attention." He said as he slipped his fingers through mine. I resisted the urge to pull away and I saw Keefe's face fall.

"You're scared." Keefe said and gave me a small smile, then took his hand away from mine. "Fitz told you, didn't he. I knew he was going too." He said and I opened my mouth but he cut me off. "Don't lie, either." He said and I bit the inside of my cheek, and nodded.

Keefe let out a breath and rubbed the back of his neck. "You're right, we should talk about this later. Let's just have fun for now." He said and I agreed, knowing I wasn't going to have fun either way. The bartender came over and gave us a smile, but her eyes were on Keefe.

"What can I get for you guys?" She asked and Keefe smiled. "Whatever tastes good, please." Keefe said and the lady nodded than looked to me.

"Water, please." I said and the lady went back to make it. "Going plain tonight, huh?" He asked and I smiled.

"You've never had alcohol so you don't even know what you're getting into."

The lady gave us our drinks and I sucked mine down quickly, while Keefe sipped on his.

Biana and Dex were already dancing together, with no drinks in their system.

Fitz and Lihn came up to get drinks,  and Tam was at the end of the bar, flirting up some blonde.

Fitz gave me a look as to say, 'why are you talking to him?' and the problem was, I didn't know why I was still standing next to Keefe. Even though Fitz told me  everything, I still can't help but feel safe around Keefe, which probably isn't a good thing.

Keefe's POV:

It was late in the night now, and I had only had a couple drinks and Foster was right, this stuff was definitely mind altering.
