Sophie's POV:

I opened my eyes to pitch black nothingness.

The last thing I remember was walking up to the beach house with Keefe.

"Keefe?" I called out, I couldn't see him. It was dark, cold, and silent.

"Keefe?" I called again, my voice louder.

I had to ask myself why I was calling out for him, or why I was in this dark place to begin with. I had no answer.

"Keefe?!?" I yelled.

I took one step and fell down to the ground, I had tripped over a rock. I shivered and put my hands out in front of, my vision was coming back, I could see the outline of my hands. I slowly got up from the ground and took another wobbly step.

"Keefe?" I asked, whispering this time, It was getting colder.

I pulled my cloak closed with one hand and kept the other in front of me so I didn't bump into anything. I walked forward with no obstacles in my way. I could see a light now but it was far away, to far for me to reach.

I still kept on walking towards the light, which is ironic. Most times you would not want to go towards a bright white light in the middle of a dark cave.

"Keefe" I muttered and shivered once more. I gasped as a figure of a large body blocked the middle of the light source, they stood there steady.

"Keefe?" I asked the figure and I heard a small grumbling, the figure got larger, meaning that they was getting closer.

I backed up and tripped over a rock that I had seemed to miss when I was walking forward. I fell flat on my but but got up as quick as I could.

The person was so close to me that he blocked out the light entirely. I backed up into a wall, now having nowhere to run. I started to focus on the figure. I sent all of my negative emotions to the figure, and they didn't even make a sound, they didn't fall to the floor or back up at all.

I reached to hand, my panic ring was gone, nobody could help me.

"You can't escape now, Sophie." It was a mans voice, and I could feel his breath on my cheek and I gulped. My heart was beating out of my chest.

"What do you want?" I asked slowly, and the man laughed.

"How small minded you are, for a girl who's supposed to save us all" He said and put a slimy hand on my cheek.

"It's not what I want, it's what the world needs." He said and I tried to push him away from me, but he had me trapped. I slowed my breathing and I tried to focus on a place, anyplace other than this one. I couldn't teleport without falling and I knew that but something still urged me to try.

"The world needs for you to die." He said and I heard a clank of metal, then a sharp, stabbing pain in my torso. I screamed loudly and put my hand to where it hurt. There was a dagger, right in the middle of my chest. I could barely breath now, the blade had punctured my lungs. I looked up and the man was gone.

"Help." I tried to yell but my words escaped me.

There was too much blood leaving my body, I was going to die if I didn't get help soon. I couldn't walk, I could barely move a finger. The feeling was unbearable, each raspy breath I tried to take set tidal waves of pain throughout every part of my body.

"Help." I whispered, then my mind went blank.
